  • STUNNING!

  • what a lad

  • That was not too good. Just my opinion.

  • young michael bisping..

  • thats great ,loved it .btw which camera did u used ?

  • Incredible actor...boy. These short films restore ones faith in the future of our cinema..what we need now is people to invest in these talents rather than the shit thats coming out of our cinemas.

  • Special litt fellow, Frankie...Dong the best he could to uphold the roll of a father.

Frankie has a simple man’s mind: He gets distracted. Frankie needs to wrap it up… or he’s going to be like his home boy’s “ west side”.

  • what accent is this?

  • @sempoi3660 Irish

  • @Sim151796

    Nee, he's speakin' cockney...

  • I like this movie.

  • Zróbcie wojne w komentarzach nazwijcie się "armia Kamila" najlepiej, człowiek poprostu komentarz dodał-.-

  • Kto od Kamila Scheichta?

  • @sebayo133

Czy ty jesteś jakiś kurwa niedojebany? 22 lata i pisze "kto od Kamila" oh kurwa kogo to obchodzi? zjebie..

  • kamil to kutas

  • @asymetrycznyy a ty dziecko bez wlasnego zycia

  • KTo do Kamila ?: P

  • Great film! So emotional.

  • "buks" ? is this canadian or something?

  • 5:14 - TRIPPY FENCE !!!

  • sad how people dont think about consequences of what they do

  • ha at 3:45 your man who says "you fucking retart" has a blatantly dublin 4 accent, really enjoyed this film

  • love it!

  • That's actually quite sad, because although the issue is that they're under-age, I have seen some teenage fathers help raise their kids, and they did it brilliantly. It shouldn't be about the age of a person, but about how mature they can be when taking care of a child and supporting the mother as much as possible. Because that, and the love for that child, should be the main concerns in such situations.

  • @rachelchunter you are right we all act spontaneously and we all are so eager to judge others we are still savage breed and sadly it will take aeons to change

  • A kid still being a kid

  • This could be a great movie.........

  • BLITTY GEED TWIZ NDEED I TIL YEH

  • i LOVE this accent :) nomnom

  • Sad and moving

  • "...the stupid cunt thought it was a cartoon." FUCKING PRICELESS!

  • 7:13 - 7:14 rape

  • i cnt understand a word hes saying

  • biggest and ugliest accent ever.

but i still like these videos :D

  • great short film couldnt stop watch,it was so emotional and hit home so hard it was great thanks.

  • very factual

    very emotional

    very genius

  • A fine film. Many of the comments here parallel those of the people in Frankie's life. Age, per se, is not a reliable determinant of good parenting. Many teenage girls actually make good mothers with some consistent support. We've even further to go in supporting the countless teenage boys who become fathers. Some of their biggest obstacles reflect our own judgmental and unhelpful attitudes rather than those of the boys themselves. The film actually shows he ends up still holding the kid.

  • OHH DAMN..every video of this production is awesome!

btw..the unnoticeable sound when the credits come in this video..ahh..killer!

  • Reading what??!!

  • If you're not from Dublin chances are you won't understand his accent. I'm from Tallaght and can understand it perfectly, but my accent isn't as common as his.

  • Thumbs up if you smiled right when he did

  • Great film, tragic but brilliant ending.

  • what did he see in the end?

  • arghhhhhh! the accent make me pain!

  • @MrSapitt

whats wrong with an Irish accent?

  • @MrSapitt Ikr, Even with subtitles :(

  • This kids accent makes me wanna shoot someone. But it's a good movie.

  • Is this real?

  • I think the ending is about no one is seeing or hearing Frankie. He is trying hard to be the good father; the one that he never had. But no one appreciate his efforts, bringing him down at every step he took. See him trying to give ice-cream to the girl, no one is there too appreciate her. In the end, he leaves for his friends because it they are the only one that appreciates him; make me feel wanted. Like him saying you need to look into babies eyes, to make them feel normal, he wants be normal

  • LOL turn on the youtube subtitles for this vid and listen to the stuff it interprates!

    Im fifteen: inflation

im gonna be a daddy: im gonna be dead

a brain between the three of us: colourful coleraine between the trails

  • Good short film!! This film should be in theaters!

  • This was an awesome short film luv it

  • now this is a lesson lads, don't be a father when your not ready.

    use condom or whatever lol

  • i think the ending means he let go of his baby like his dad did because they both weren't ready, but like his dad, the guy at the van, he still loves him..

  • Your short films are so creative, I love this.

  • I'm really confused with ending as well. Couldn't it be, that he is kinda mixing his old lifestyle with being a good dad now? Because of that last shot of him kissing the baby.

Or is he giving up on the baby?!

  • @ThisIsTheAlphabet In the end it's showing that he's not ready, he's only a kid.

  • Did the mother of the child have a miscarriage and he couldn't get over it?

  • 9:13-9:20 EXTREME AKWARDNESS!

  • hm what is that music in theirs car? at the end

  • Great film. I guess at the end he ends up like everyone else but I thought he was going to be a good dad because of the very last clip. Sooo, he doesn't turn out to be the only good guy in this? :(

  • great film. couldn't stop watching. actually wanted to see more. but like some others said, WTF with the ending. I do understand it, but c'mon. I felt for the guy, hoping he would be different.

  • Too sudden ending..

  • I was kinda disappointed, what happened to the fake baby and to Frankie after that? lol

  • uh lkike at the end he leaves the baby WTF?

  • wait what?

  • lol at 5:08

  • Awesome film! ^_^

  • i feel sorry for frienkie..

  • fake and gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay

  • @MakeLegalWeed its a short film. its not real :P

  • How cme he never gives the baby food dom ass

  • only after I read the comments I get it.. but still good one

  • a fifteen year old getting laid yes there is still a chance

  • strong & poignant. great film

  • he is from dublin and its set in dundalk on the border..

  • it's funny when he jumps at the guy who kicked him out of the hospital lmao

  • I don't get the part at 9:12ish, can someone tell me what it means?

  • @BreakingTheHabit100 in the earlier part at 3:50 - 4:10. Because when he was born, his father left him. And he doesn't feel the father-ly love. And so, what he knows is that, his father was from a band. And so, during that point of time, 9:12, it means he just wants to feel comfort from his father, when his father smiled at him. So that he know he is normal. A normal feeling. A feeling of comfort :)

  • WOULD YOU PLEASE TELL ME WHAT CAMERA YOU ARE USING

  • This is soo funny I love it

  • I was confused in the end, but overall, great film. The continuity is there.

  • It was very well done but I was confused about what the ending meant...So he's deluded himself into thinking he has had a baby child but it's really just a doll, and at the end he comes to a point where he can move on from being a father and go back to being a 15 year old? That change was very sudden after all that nurturing :S great short though, just very confusing lol

  • He's trying so hard, but there's no way he's going be a good dad. It's like the mirroring thing. You smile at those who smile at you, who show you what normal is. There is not a single person in his environment who can show him what it means to be a good father or even a good person. This film is tragic, in that sense.

  • I DONT GET IT

  • tthx :)

  • I can't really say i was touched by the story of the movie because i hasn't happened to me or anyone i know or anyone in my country at all! (joking of course it's impossible for me to know) but the shots of this film are simply awesome! They kind of remind me of "BOY A" another really good full length movie (in case you haven't heard about it).

  • well shouldn't make kids you can't afford

  • .....i'm confused at first i knew it was one of those training baby dolls but half way through it seemed like he thought the baby was real and he was dilusional....im pretty sure it wasnt that but thats just the way it looked at some parts

  • i like it!!

  • i gotta be honest, the movie the way it being "presented" is really nice... but hmmm i dont see any content in it?

  • amazing film!

  • wow, thats an amazing film, but did he choose his friends at the end or the baby??

  • @Doghbird

i think it is very hard to start being a father at his age... which is not normal, although he tries he goes for his friends because he enjoys being with them and his just 15... something like that.

  • @Doghbird

i think it is very hard to start being a father at his age... which is not normal, although he tries; he goes for his friends because he enjoys being with them and his just 15... something like that.

  • He talks a lot ..

  • i like it for the tragedies it depicts

  • cool here's another short to check, /watch?v=2xtxC-KX20I

  • The accent is not English, its a dialect from Ireland.

  • I know this is a knoob question, but what does "FTW" mean?

  • @101pinkbunny For The Win

  • @SonySkateMedia Thank You!

  • @101pinkbunny Yea

  • boyz will be boyz

  • He said the fuck and retard word so many times.

  • love it. he's ready to do it, but his enviroment is not ready to let him do. thats what i get from it.

  • @408suzan

    hey . i think u r right! maybe Irish!!

i like that accent flow .it's fast and fantastic!

  • @sudesh215 thnx =)

  • @sudesh215 it must be cockney, therefore he is from london

  • @obormotorama And your English then ?

  • @obormotorama And your English then ? This isnt even an english accent its a dialect of Irish

  • @ShLo16 Dialects are often called "accents" in everyday speech.

  • @ShLo16 I thought accents were called so when only was affected or distinct the spoken version, and dialect when it introduces new words and stuff also written. Sort of.

  • @alejarren its set in ireland.

  • I like a true story!

They should play this to school children.

  • nice work =)

  • This is good, I felt sad at the end... Did anyone click that he wasnt ready for fatherhood?

He left the child behind to look at a new car. He has problems and seemed very mature, but at the end of the day he is still a kid =(

  • what language does he speak?

  • @bitekas English, but in Scotland it's a very different kind. And it's a bit hard to understand at times.

  • heart renching is what this is, made me teary eyed and erything.

  • AHAHA! OMG im gonna sound like a total jerk, but i laughed the whole way through, because there is this guy named frankie and he is the exact opposite of this guy. WAIT! im not a total jerk! so i watched it a second time, and i thought it was amazing. really brilliant. i gotta give props to whomever made this, and the kid? amazing amazing actor.

  • heart-breaking flick but very realistic that kid is a brilliant actor

  • The accent is easy to understand and I'm assuming you know how to read the subtitiles no?

  • took her to Seed of Chucky, thought it was a cartoon... ACE!!!!

  • The Young Lad Has A Very Descriptive Vocabulary ...

  • amazing young actor. wonderful short, great story.

  • Frankie's character seems to have more serious problems than just being too young for fatherhood. he might be slightly autistic or have some other disorder that makes him be so irascible and get so fixated on certain details...

  • accent is really nice ... but sometimes it's hard to understand!...

and nice film by the way

  • @sudesh215 is it irish or scotish i guess irish ,am i right?

  • @408suzan Yep its set in Dublin

  • @beggo321 thnx =)

  • I am stunned. I never expected this. 10 Stars from me, if my opinion matters.

  • That was brilliant!

  • 1:11 ftw. "look. u upset the (fake) child"

  • @TheJojoMillions I noticed that, ridiculously fake! :L

  • Errrrr...UGLY MUCH?? And this isnt sad hes the one who fucked the bitch so his fault.

  • i like it ^^;

  • The beginning was excellent! Some great compositions in there, could have had more backing music in places.

  • this is more sad than new kid these people make good movies

  • brilliant.

  • ROFL *look now. you've upset the child.*

  • very good

  • lol frankie! frankie! shutup! ya!!!!! u fucking retard!! lol

  • fucking brits, the whole damn country is "B" movies

  • Holy shit its nicky sexton!!!!! This guy ryan ise 2 b in my class!!! Random someone i knew found this

  • DAYUMMMMM

  • good sound design!

  • amazing!

  • love that short - seen it on rte one, it is deadly...

please check out my short too -' The Environment Man'

  • "oh sweet i want to check out my mates kia spectra instead of that bmw m3 behind me."

  • Wonderful story, but what happens at the end? Does he return to his old ways, kissing goodbye to his noble aspirations, symbolized by kissing the baby?

  • This is VERY good. Excellent inter-cutting, wonderful direction. I hope you make it big!

  • frankie went through a phase where he thought he was ready in a father figure way, pretending he could do better off than his father and such (to show he'd be a role model father himself at his age) he'd put time and effort into showing he could be a father and be persistent in how he would do anything for his child. ending just showed, although he was ready to take that big leap in life, he was just a meer child himself that wanted the attention he gave to his child(doll)

  • @theblasianprincess the way I took the ending is you see a fantasy of him and his dad looking at each other Frankie smiles then his dad does jus like Frankie says your supposed to do to children to make them feel normal. So he is thinking he wishes he was just normal and to do so he must abandon the child. Other opinions?

  • Awesome

  • reading some comments asking for explanation of this beautiful story is like watching american school kids on jamie's food revolution show who don't know what a tomato is.

  • Teen language.

    F

    T

    W

  • man! dublin looks a bit like LA

  • Took her to see the Seed of Chucky. Stupid cunt thought it was a cartoon.

So beautiful and realistic. This is fantastic.

  • WAIT I DNT GET THE ENDING *****some one tell me plzzz****

  • @TheBlasianPrincess my interpretation from it was that at the end, Frankie decides to abandon his child even though he loves him/her. A lack of decent father figures around him contribute to him believing that raising his child would be too difficult. Thats what i think anyway!

  • @TheBlasianPrincess in the video he was trying to prove to himself that he could be a better father unlike his. but at the end he was still a kid and left the baby.

  • wow irish ppl r so talented.

  • I'm another dumb fuck American who took "the art of film" course at my school expecting to just watch movies but we watched this in class and it just sucks. I don't understand it and it was boring. I'll stick to "the hangover" and meth. Because I'm stupid. Also I play lacrosse and I play COD.

  • 1:37 LOL. WHAT CUNT?

  • I dont get the ending

  • great. fantastic.

  • the dublin accent is so bad subtitles are needed.....lol. But anyway its a good movie.

  • wow these people are so bad mouthed.
