You are absolutely correct SonofJaphet. Frank was not only a big fan of this music, but he was a big time supporter. Frank Zappa and Gus Gossert were good friends and listened to records together in the 60s.. Frank sent Gossert a few rare records to play on his show. Frank Zappa's favorite record is Newly Wed by The Orchids according to an article I read.

I am a fan of not only Ruben and The Jets, but Zappa's work in itself. He was nuts, but also brilliant and I appreciate that.

This is one of those records that will get stuck in your head, guaranteed. It's a record that also drove a lot of collectors nuts.. The Collectables reissue and the CR bootleg both have terrible sound quality.. The original isn't really a high priced record, but it's insanely hard to find. Since I started collecting

Oops.. my comment got cut off. I was going to say that since I started collecting almost 20 years ago, I have only come across 2 copies, and both were recent. Keep in mind that I was actively searching for this.. I'd ask vendors at the shows, any record store I went to, ebay, etc. The record just hardly if ever shows up.
