Funny how one of the most broken and troublesome and controversial linux distros is the one that converted so many to the linux world. I've been on Debian 6 Squeeze since release and not a single bug has surfaced, unlike Ubuntu.
The guy with the mic problem, those kinds of bugs are what made me ditch Ubuntu. Debian stable is always rock solid and reliable. Its surprising the work that gets done on linux when you don't have to reinstall every six months or spend days or weeks dealing with bugs.
