RANDY AND I WENT TO HOLLYWOOD TO SEE THIS IN MY BRICKLIN....WHAT A TRIP HAVING A CAR WITH HE DOORS SWING UP LIKE A SPACE SHIP AT THAT TIME WAS SO NEET WE FELT LKE WE WERE IN AN X WING SHIP AT THAT TIME THIS CAR WAS SO FAR IN ADVANCED OF OTHERS IT WAS SO COOL.,MALCHOM BRICKLIN ...WHAT A CAR !!!!!!!!TALK ABOUT FUN!!!! THANKS A LOT!!!! I'M SORRY ABOUT THINGS BUT WHAT A GREAT GUY YOU ARE!!!!!!
@csrgatorfan I saw the original in '77 (I'm 41 now) and I couldn't wait to take my kids to the re-release of the films when they were out earlier in the new millenium. My daughter was just a toddler so now that Lucas said they will again re-release the original Star Wars in 2 years (in 3D) I will be one of the first to show up at the midnight screening.
@KangarooRat55 I still have my vinyl copy plus I have the CD. I was nine when this movie came out in '77. I'm 43 now and still in love with these movies. My wife made me wait until our daughter turned seven before I could show it to her, so, in May when she turned seven, guess what I did? Yep, you guessed it. She's now hooked on Episode IV. In fact, just before I put her to bed she said we HAVE to watch it again soon. I'm so proud of her!! I think I'm going to cry. sniff sniff
AUNQUE NO ES LA BANDA SONORA OFICIAL DE LA PELÍCULA STAR WARS....ESTE TRABAJO DE MECO MONARDO SONÓ MUY BIEN EN ESOS DÍAS,Y OBTUVO UN RECONOCIMIENTO DE GEORGE LUCAS EL CREADOR DE STAR WARS...EXCELENTE ORQUESTACIÓN Y MAGNIFICA INTERPRETACIÓN DE INSTRUMENTOS CLASICOS.
@hodell82 ... Yep. I did the same. Funny story. I went back to the music store and exchanged it several times because it kept skipping... Then I found out it was because my needle was worn out. Ha,ha,ha. It's true. I'm a dork. Ha,ha,ha.
What if Star Wars was about Lando Calrissian.

I got this soundtrack on cassette for Christmas 1977. I absolutely wore it out in my "new" tape deck! It was great being a kid!

I have this, but my version is 15:44... can't find the difference though. Listen to this while I do homework and I fly through it. So epic.

it's a good thing that the people on the record cover are not facing the opposite direction otherwise the image would look a lot worse!
