  • this is bloody INCREDIBLE!

  • allez on se réveille!!!!

  • Joe shows his twangy side..soulful and funky as heck.

  • From first track to the last this album is pure gut-wrenching soul. The best musical purchase I've made this decade.

  • this is one fucking good album

  • Absolutely amazing (grace) ! ! ! ! !

  • to the dick who disliked this! GET A HEARING AID!

  • Parabens , tudo que a Beth toca se transforma em ouro ...incluindo o Joe

  • @Pjpearcy25 Here's Beth singing Get Up, Stand up: /watch?v=XyCisQ-iV8E

  • Favorite track of the CD..Joe and Beth ROCK!!!!!

  • guess Beth gets sick of hearing the "J" word, but c'mon folks; it's to be expected...My ears and heart say there are 3 queens of blues-power rock.. Janis Ruby Starr and Beth Hart.... Call it blasphemy if 'ya want, but my vote goes to Beth as hands down the most gifted ...... Wail on Dear Dark Angel....

  • This lady has that raspy quality I love but she is much smoother than Janice and is top drawer and as for Joe well, when you got it, you got and boy he's got it. They are a GREAT pair. Sing on my babeee loves.

  • Joe!

  • Wow!!! Love this!!!!!!!!

  • WWHHHOOOAAAA, Shut Up!!!!!! OMG They did that soooo good. I know Beth won't like this comment but very very Janis like. The organ going and the vocals just hit home to Janis Joplin which mind you, Joplin did seem to mimik Etta James' style quite a bit. OOHHH This is my favorite, hands down, can't wait to get the record tomorrow!!!!!! : )

  • @Pjpearcy25 Janis was never this good!

  • @salisburysimon I can agree even though I love everything she was for the queen of Psychedelic rock music, 60's flower child, and the first white woman to sing the blues, she still was as talented as Beth Hart. In fact, the blues part, I feel Joplin stole a lot of songs, vocal sounds, and physical motions from Etta James so how talented was she really? Still, she seems to influence a lot of musicians today.

  • @Pjpearcy25 Yep. Don't get me wrong - I'm a huge Janis fan. I even named one of my cats Joplin after her. Also, I never got to see her live so I am not qualified to comment there. However, this record for me, is better than Pearl, Kozmic Blues or even Big Brother. Of course, Joe helps!

  • @salisburysimon Then I can agree with you a 100%. Joplins albums were ok but Don't Explain knocks so many other records outta the water. EXCITED to hear it's doing well in Europe!!!! Hopefully, they'll do another one in the future. For some reason though, I have a suggestion that they pull songs from various eras like from 60's to 80's then back to 50's. That might ruin their style but idk. I would love to hear Beth belt out a song like Highwire by Men @ Work or Sade, or a Marley song
