  • All I did was mount the cam with velcro under the fuselage near the tail section. If you're getting vibrations on the camera during flight, chances are, you have the cam mounted too close to the motor and/or mounted near the front of the fuselage. Question: What motor are you using? Stock?

  • Hey, could you make a video on how to mount the camera so it won't vibrate? Or just tell me thru the comments because I can't stop the vibration...

  • Love it! Nice flying

  • @RCcarsNtrucks Thanks! It's a lot of fun doing these videos. More to come...

  • @mhall914 one question, where did you buy it from?

  • @RCcarsNtrucks I got the camera from lazertoyzdotcom

  • 808 keychain. Got it! Great video Mike!

  • @acuchi Thanks! It's a great little camera for $12 bucks.

  • Nice video! What camera did you use?

  • What mounted camera is this

  • @SteviePaco Hi Stevie, it's the 808 key chain cam.

  • @mhall914 This is great, how do you have it mounted. I have the same camara but get lots of vibriation...

  • @SweigertTV1 Thanks! I use velcro to mount it. What plane are you flying? Have you checked your prop for balance? You shouldn't get any vibrations during flight on the cam unless the prop is out of balance or the mounting is not tight to the surface that you are attaching it to.

  • @mhall914 I fly the Hobby Zone Super Cub, it seems when I get a new motor it has very little vibrations but as I put time on the motor it gets worse.

  • @SweigertTV1 sounds like either the prop is not balanced (this can occur during prop strikes when landing) or, the motor mount screws are loose so check those as well but be careful not to over tighten since the firewall plastic is very soft.. Start with installing a new prop. I bet that's the cause. Hope that helps...

  • Hi ya loved the video, its amazing how high these models get up,the cub looks like a great plane to fly.

  • @wallydug2256 Thanks! Sorry, just saw this. Yes - they can really get up there. The Super Cub is one of the best planes to fly if you're taking video. I personally love it and will alwys have it. I have to be careful while flying really high so I don't lose sight of it. There's nothing more scary then to have to try to find your plane you took your eyes off of in that big sky :-) Thanks for watching my videos!

  • @jeffreynevermind Thanks, Jeffery! I've been flying for about two years at the time of that video. I absolutely love the hobby! Thanks for checking out my videos!

    Mike

  • @Fsimfreak yes - they are the dubro 2.5" wheels. You can get them from hobbytown.

  • @mhall914 Please take a few mins to watch some of my flying videos, pmm4177 Thanks

  • What brushless motor were you using? what was your set up?

  • @hawkin32 E-flite brushless 450 outrunner w/ a 20 amp ESC and an 1800 maH parkzone lipo

  • @mhall914 How did you mount it?

  • @hawkin32 got the mount from custom rc parts

  • Dont get floats inless your a pro if you dont land real good your cub can flip and ruin it as the engine gets wet not good idea

  • Nice. The music was pretty funny.

  • @AaronHartwell Thanks!

  • Awesome video! What camera did you use?

  • @poikilotherm1 Thanks! I used the 808 keychain camera. You can get one at lazertoyzdotcom

  • Very nice! Looked like a really smooth day to fly. Where is OBX by the way?

  • @jtkent28 Thanks! OBX is in the Outer Banks of North Carolina in also know as Nags Head, NC. OBX is the nickname for The Outer Banks. It's a great place to fly when the winds are calm.

  • Nice view over the inter coastal! Did u have to compensate for the weight of ur wheels.

  • @inebmob22 Thanks! I was using the 3" Du-bro's and they are really light so I didn't have to compenstate at all.

  • Sweet flight. Hope you did not hit the prop on the landing.
