I was at this concert. And it is actually a green laser that is shining from the platform he is on up to the platform above him. And then he has a mirror in his hand that he puts on the laser, which is when you see it shine out to the crowd

Our seats were behind the left tower.. We could barely see the opening band's lead singer and we thought their towers would block the whole show. When they destroyed the skyscrapers with their rock we were so happy. Thanks for posting this :) Best concert of my life.
