  • @Deciblaster :)

  • @Deciblaster :)

  • will lace rock change my pH?

  • @laxplayer3690 no. Lace is commonly used in planted and African tanks.

  • love your dolphins and frontosa wish i have some

  • Lovely Fish! ;)

  • That's a cool tank love all the different cichlid's . I was thinking of buying some African cichlid . I have a 75 gallon tank with a wet /dry filter . How many cichlid's can i put in my tank ?

  • i dunno why people even bother with Tropical

  • god i wish i had the $ to get my fish a bigger home like you have so they can grow big

  • Outstanding tank. What kind of gravel do you have?

  • That's strange that even the mbuna in there aren't anywhere near the rock structure and are in the open with the haps

  • Love your tank!

but plz feed the fish they are hungry ahaha

  • my fish tank is cloudy ...HOW TO I MAKE IT CLEAR....PLZ HELP

  • @gblack12 Well, changing the water would be a good start. And you should already have a Filter, running in the tank, this keeps it looking clean, as it traps all the debris(food, fish waste) until water changes.

  • just popped some extacy and going to watch your tank, you need some glow sticks in it

  • At 0:39 seconds there is an all blue fish with a bright yellow stripe down the top of him. What kind of fish is that?

  • @heinekenguy247 Supfur Head Lithobates

  • Love the tank deco

  • love the tank and what species was the large white one, it sure was a camera star

  • @milkmaid12 albino Pseudotropheus tropheops.

  • Love your tank!!

  • What species is that orange one?

  • Malawis appeal to me : marine colors/ breed easy/ interactive and curious/ marine set up ( can pile tight and safe rocks high) / you can enforce plant structures ( if deeply imbedded) : )

  • Is it me or dolphic cichlids look very much like African people?

    :D

  • @SirianKings idiot!

  • daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanm! nice fish

  • OH. MY. GOD<3 THIS! <3 AHHHH ;D

  • very nice tank my friend i have a 3 month old tank with 405 ltrs with anything from a inch to 3 inches in there and there is 53 fish 2 cats n a plec n i wont stop till 60 fish so to all these ppl that say you have to many they no nothing about cichlids please can you list what you have ? n check out my new set up thats 3 months old

  • love the tank m8 check mine out ?

  • great tank looks brilliant, bit over populated tho, efing overpopulation rules lol! tanks look better with lots in!

  • @AViolentCobra cichlid tanks need to be either sparsely populated or overstocked to control aggression, they are not goldfish.

  • @BusaFalconer ohh i get it, so they are quite agressive? or is it just terotorial? im still learning ;) lol i know you can still overpop tropical fishtanks tho, but i think tanks look better with lots of fish!

  • :) Thumbs up!

  • Absolutely beautiful!

  • nice borleyi my chpokae killed mine and then ate them and the got malawi bloat.

  • i think that your dominate male is the same as mine the hybrid blue yellow is beautiful !! love the tank ! love the song just the same!!

  • beatifull tank!

  • nice fishies dude

  • Just started keeping African cichlids. Thinking about putting some bog wood etc in are they ok with it

  • lol this is one of my incentives to get good grades in college and get a good job so i can afford a tank like this

  • U have a gorgeous tank! Can u help me, I'm looking for a fish and I saw that u have one like the one I want. What is the name of the solid dark blue one with the yellow stripe up it's head and top fin? Do u have one for sale?

  • @Bluewirenut76 That is a Haplochromis Lithobates (Sulfur Head). We do not currently have one in stock but check back we would be happy to ship one to you.

  • you have some extremely colorful fish in there. how come all the ones at petsmart arent like that?

  • @brandonkr Petsmart carries the basic Pseudotropheus (Mbuna) from Malawi which are common and cheap. Petsmart typically does not carry many high dollar fish. Try a local privately owned fish store they typically have a much better selection.

  • @ReefThuZ hmmm well the private stores around here dont carry many cichlids. what about ebay? lol i laughed when i saw real live fish for sale on ebay. is it safe? i mean wont the fish die if its being in a shipping truck and plane and all that?

  • @brandonkr they put them in a cardboard box and poke holes in it for it to breath haha

  • @ReefThuZ Petsmart often has sick and stressed fish. They also don't have as good of colour genes as a good local fish store.

  • @ReefThuZ Petsmart has usualy sick and stressed fish. I was in Petsmart last weekend picking up some dog food. Got talking to the girl thats regularly in the fish section at Petsmart. She got her fish from Captain Cichlid, our good local fish store. Thats got to say something.

  • @ReefThuZ I have bought several brightly colored cichlids from Petsmart and Petco. They do not carry the widest variety but what they do have are Electric Yellow, Zebra and Cobalt Blue which are all very colorful fish. I agree that a store specializing in just fish will have a better variety.

  • @brandonkr I second what ReefThuZ said Plus alot of his fish are grown out and look very healthy...you only get babies at lfs and with cichlids of all types: haps, peacocks, mbuna etc... they usually arent very coloful till adult anyway...find a local breeder OR a wholesaler that is open to the public...I use Consolidated fish farms local to riverview FL....sells ANYTHING you want at anysize/age and you can hand pick...grown peacocks like in the video for $15 measly bucks....Do some research :)

  • @brandonkr ridiculous question!

  • srry that he should be hi

  • he sinse u run a aquarium shop can i ask u something i got african chiclids in my tank and wehn i was changing the water the rocks fall down and i fixed them but now they are hiding they come out when i sit and watch but when i move they hide will they be normal

  • @marazyigit just give them a few days to calm down and everything will return to normal. African Cichlids are very hardy.

  • @ReefThuZ thank you for your advise

  • wow one of the best fish tanks i have seen on youtube so far, how big is the tank in litres? looks big

  • @adamsworld thanks, about 1,175 liters.

  • hey cld you please help me figure this out im wanting to get a 75 gallon african cichlid tank i want these fish but can you tell me if thats to many in if you think it would work thanks 1 albino peacock 1 blue peacock 1 yellow peacock 3 johanni 2 bumble bee 2 blue colbalt 3 demasoni 1 electric blue 2 electric yellow labs 2 kenyi 3 mbuna 2 orange leleupi 1orange peacock cichlid 1 red peacock 2 venustus 2 tretocephalus 2 red zebra n 3 moorei 2 frontosa and 2 fuelleborni marmalade

  • @jacksonjones402 those fish should all get along. As far as being too many I count around 35 you listed and it would really depend on the size of the fish. Africans typically need to be over crowded to avoid fighting and they are tollerent to high nitrates. Just add the fish slowly and monitor your nitrate levels.

  • man that must be very relaxing!!!

  • Absolutely AMAZING setup. You make the idea of maintaining such a tank so easy! Are those real plants?

  • @RAFaquaria no those are Aquarium Systems Fancy plants and they are plastic. Africans are bad about tearing up live plants although some plant species do work in the higher pH and hard water.

  • would you recommend this sand for Kuhli loaches in a planted tank? I really love the look of black sand, it makes the color of your fish pop!

  • @mercedesff2 the sand is called Tahitian Moon Sand from CaribSea and would be fine for any tank since it is volcanic based and will not alter pH. For a plant tank I would use Caribsea EcoComplete which has iron in it for plant growth.

  • @ReefThuZ most loaches wil prefer a smoother epoxy coated gravel on their barbels, some species are even prone to getting sand caught in their gills. If you are keeping fish other than cichlids I suggest getting advice from a professional.

  • amazing, tank.

  • hope you dont mind me asking..but what do you do for a living?

  • @purchez I own an aquarium store.

  • Oh wow that is extremly beautifull. Thumbs up.

  • wow how do you get such pieceful enviorment for ur cichlid beautiful set up wow

  • @516Spark thanks.

  • where can i get spiderwood?

  • Comment removed

  • @pktlb go to the aquariumoutfitters channel. Call and they will ship it to you.

  • I think the coolest part of your tank is the sheer size and really nice fish but the aquascaping could use work. Of course your tank is also a go between two living areas so you cant stock it fully otherwise cant see other side but I would put a mountain shaped rock formation in the middle to break it up and fill it out a bit give it two distinct sides.

  • @MrWDTV thanks for your input!

  • are those black gravel or are those eco complete? nice setup.

  • @1989calvindo CaribSea Tahitian Moon Sand with Mexican Beach Stones.
