i was out on the harbour arm on that day braving the wind and rain, it was worth it to see the tornado and the mighty vulcan, espicially as they flew low :)
@lambo9321 That was one helluva storm, it looked especially nasty on the arm, well done for braveing it there, the pilots did a great job dodgeing the weather so we could enjoy the displays.
Well done. I was doing stills by the big shelter just east of you - so I'm very glad to see this. The Vulcan's approach from the murk was pretty special.
@davidpea Luckily I was pointing in the right direction, because I didn't hear any talking on the radio saying she was running in, must of been missing that frequency, it sure was a great sight, XH558 looked a bit like a big Pterosaur flying out of the clouds.
@jimbob1194 I was using a scuba divers underwater housing to protect the video camera, it was hard filming fast moving jets with it, its mainly designed for filming slow moving fish LOL.
Never thought I'd see the Vulcan fly again ,seen 4 flying at once in the late 70's at a RAF air show. The noise is terrific these planes need preserving . well captured
that is awsome, and the vulcan whistle noise is the sound of the airbreaks, sounds like an eagle crying. awsome
