her name is Ellie.. she is from SF. (was in NYC for a while and danced with Yamule Dance Co) she is now back in the bay area, not performing anymore..

@EldelaClave - Seriously, this isn't a 'routine' or 'choreography'. This is more like an EXTRAVAGANZA! Wow! I can't even imagine how much time it took to make it all work. It's like something you'd see at Las Vegas or on Broadway. Amazing!

Do you know the name of the winning routine? Or if there's a video of it somewhere? I'm REALLY curious to see it.

this is a rutine we did, a few years ago..(3 or 4 yrs ago)

if i remember correctly salsamania took first place..

Wow. I haven't seen this since the day they performed it many years ago. This should have won that competition in my humble opinion, but congratulations to Salsamania for also a great performance.

@mambobert - This didn't win?? Salsamania's winning performance must have been out of this world then! Do you know if there's a video somewhere online of the winning performance? Or what the name of the winning routine was? Thanks!

@srkajolfan1 - I have not seen the Salsamania performance online nor do I recall what it was called. The scoring was actually tied. The judges were called back for a recount and they were tied again. They recounted yet again and Salsamania came out on top. The rumor is that Mambo Romero got points deducted in the last recount because not all the dancers were dancing at the same time. Salsamania did put on a great show too and congratulations to them!
