@clanfalcon it is not a MK18, but it is a SOPMOD Block II, they are basicaly the same, but the MK18s have a 10.5 inch barrel.

Stick to airsoft.

Google up SOPMOD Block II, it's a 14.5'' barrel with a 12.5'' Daniel Defense RIS II rail system and often uses the Eotech 553 and Elcan Specter DR sight. Then google up MK18 MOD 0 CQBR which is a replacement upper that is 10.3'' with a Knights Armament RAS rail. The "MK18 MOD 1" is a internet made up name for the M4 CQBR 10.3'' barrel with a 9.55'' Daniel Defense MK18 RIS II rail which is also part of the SOPMOD Block II program.

@clanfalcon there is a review on G&P Defender on Airsoftmechanics forum. it says it all if u can be bothered googling it. the stock piston teeth snapped off and the sector gear shaft broke after a few thousand rounds as well. it looks pretty much the same DD rail etc.

on the point about smaller or younger players ,i am 13 run a flyye ciras and kwa s-system with m203 , agog ,peq15 and flashlight . anybody who owns even a standard s-system will know there are a pain to lug around all day mine weighs in at around 7.5 kg ...but then i am a complete gear whore

@clanfalcon I can believe 7.5 kilos.......full metalrail with acog is fairly heavy ad a m203 and everything else and it can get mighty heavy. :)

@TheMrFishcake An S System has a polymer rail so absolute tops the thing weighs about 3 kilos basic, probably nearer 2.7-8. A M203 weighs about a kilo, ACOG about 400 grams, a torch around 300 grams and the same for a PEQ 15 - that's 2.5 kilos short of 7.5 kilos. 5 Kilos is a heavy rifle all the same though.
