@NoahLikesApples have you tried jumping the ramp at full speed? you need to get a BIG headstart and already be going at full speed in order to make the jump...

@NoahLikesApples hey, i originally though you were talking about a ramp during the 'unnamed days' portion of the level but i now realize that you meant the first ramp in the 'midgard serpent' part. yes, my ramp is down too and i cant get across it either, how did you do it?!

@HatersHater1000 You must restart the level. I know this is harsh, but it is the only way I know of and it worked for me. The thing is you must do the calendar puzzle in the correct order.

@girlieeee3 When you're driving to get there, and the dramatic music stops, that means it closed. To get it back open, look at your PDA, and it'll tell you that you have to go back to the other calander (Which was the first calander you lined up) and you have to line it up again. That way, the door will open again. Y'see, if you don't get there in time, it'll close on you. I learned the hard way, lol.

And yes, the main gate is timed. If you watch, the fire-breathing serpents go out and fold back down one at a time.

@OwenBarker1 the same thing happened to me too. the only thing you can do is go back to an earlier save and start from there. when you come back again the ramp should be up. if you don't have an earlier save then your screwed, your going to have to start the game over.

I collected that golden skull thing from your last video (2/8), but unfortuntely, i died. Now, when i try to place the skull in the outer ring a 5.10 (3/8), it doesn't come up with the Triangle icon, so I can't place it in. I've checked the hint and it just says to place the skull in the outer-ring hole. ive tried it a thousand times and its not working. Please help me and reply soon, thanks.

just play on from there, and once you've got the skull, DONT DIE!

keep saving regularly.

if you haven't got a save, you're pretty screwed.

hello. i would appreciate it if i could get a reply. i have gone through the game, and am at this point. no problems, all good but just was looking at an achievment guide. and looked at "speed demon/swan divers" can only be done in one playthrough? so to me that means, i cant get swan diver achievements unless i play through the entire game again? :S

I'm standing at one of those 2 skull-rings and I don't know what I've done wrong. I've already aligned the oposite one, but can't move this one. Both skulls are on place and ground has only slightly moved, not showing the passage. I'm standing on the right one if you're facing the way into the passage that should open.

ok so i have a HUGH problem.. i did the whole puzzle thing and it opened the passage way, so when i went back on the bike, getting ready to go that spot, i accidently fell in the hole and died.. and now the door is close and when i went back to the original spot, i cant move the skull thing to unearth the underground passage.. so what do i do now????

A HUGH problem!? :D

Anyway... just go to the other side and use the other skull thing instead. Whenever you set the two of them, and if you don't make it through the entrance, the one on the opposite side is always the one unset, not the one you just used. Keep that in mind just in case you don't make it through the door on time - same principle applies.

1. Stand close to a foe, with your weapons out and your adrenaline meter full, then press whatever your grapple key/button is, align the reticles and fire.

2. Like I said before, it's a concept called completeness - most of those who have played TR before are familiar with it. If that's not enough motivation for you, you have bonuses: collecting a relic heals you and also increases your hit points. By the time you collect your 6th relic you'll have twice the hit points you had when you started.

you cant raise the ramps if their up you,ve done the beginning of the level wrong after you've got the jaguars head from the first temple head right instead of left as this causes a bug in the game do the calender to your right first

you cant do anything to raise them you've basically done the beginning of the level wrong go back to a checkpoint just after picking up the jaguars head at the first temple you need to go right instead of left and do the first calender first if you dont it causes a bug in the game hence the ramps being down

i did the same thing trying to ge the speed demon trophies while that hole was open but i saved after i completed that second ring puzzle. So i think if u save just before u line up the arrows on that second circle you should be ok

Um Well out of Wii and ps2... I'd say wii, Lock on isnt automatic like other consoles, but it gives you more of a feel of playing, graphics are pretty much the same, although alot of people go on about how the brightness has an effect on gameplay With Xbox360 and ps2. The wii is very bright, easier to control, to start off with of course you'll have to get the hang of it, but i'd say after 1 chapter, the controls are really easy to use. Hope I helped ;]

You need the adrenaline meter full and a target locked in. Stand close to your enemy and press the grapple key/button. Align the reticles and fire.

it has been alittle bit since i have played, so im telling you this off memory, but if you go to the closest dial and it is locked, then try the dial near the start(the first one) and see if that opens the fire door, if not, then by hitting the first one it restarted the 2nd one. you can keep on going back and forth, the door is never locked forever. hope that helps

I do nothing. This is a known bug in the game. I'm told this is triggered far back in the level. When you come to a fork in the road near the entrance to the first calendar puzzle, if you take the left first and cross the checkpoint you may accidentally trigger this. If you have a saved game before that point now is the time to use it. And don't forget to go right first this time.

wow I loved the music when you opend up the floor and them stature things came out and strated breathing fire and you rode your bike into the cave fought that was ace, and when you was on your bike adn that pantha jumpt out at you and you hit it I foudn that funny lol. and spiders YUK I hate Spiders them and needles are my all time biggest fear. Great Walkthrough though 5 stars.

hmmm... You have heard of this thing called google right? :D

Just type 'underworld 1.1 patch' and there should be plenty of links to it. But like ellntj7 said this won't help you in this run. You better have a saved game before this point.

The patch was supposed to have fix that...

Try quitting the game, then resume from the last checkpoint. If that doesn't work you should load a previously saved game. As a last resort restart the level. I know none of those sound too good but there's no other options I know of...

If you did it in the same order I did on this run but didn't made it through the gate on time, you have to go back to the first calendar and align it again like you did before. The road is somewhat shorter and more straightforward on that side so it should be easy to make it on time.

Maybe you're a bit slow with the bike? If that's the case try to do the path a couple of times to get to know the way first before aligning the calendar.

So the calendar was stuck? If you're on PC you should download the 1.1 patch. That might help avoiding those bugs. As a second (safer) option, save often.
