Late to the party, I know (and darn YouTube for hiding this too far down my subs for me to catch it!), but nice to seeya back. Any chance you'll be hunting that "golf course" again before they eventually sod it over? Hope so! HH! =^[.]^=
Hejsa i Norge. Flot video igen. I begyndelsen af din video finde du en kobbermønt på en stubmark. Hvordan kan du gå med din detektor i så høje stubbe? Mange hilsner fra Danmark, Bo
Very enjoyable video and the hunt site was amazing... all that lovely exposed soil to explore, lovely. Did those earth movers remove any of the soil to another place, because it would be worth checking that out too? There were some cool finds from everyone. I'm not used to seeing so many detectorists in one location. Will certainly watch more of your videos. Good hunting on your next trip out :D
You have nearly hit the 100th video upload on youtube, you should make the 100th upload a collection on all your best finds useing your favourite uploads-just a thought.Keep up the good work and good luck with finding those silvers.
Very entertaining video - and looks like a great hunt was had by all. Not raining - excellent! Got some great finds too - well done to all. Like the epilogue - great run down on your finds. Cheers GL & HH
Hey DN, did you consider that the artifact that looks like a ring could actually be a Saxon form of currency, if in fact it is bronze. I have been watching some vids from Germany and France and found out that before the Saxons adopted the coin as their form of money like the Romans they used bronze rings, some with markings, some without. So maybe you have a very very old find there! HH Archeodigger
@DiggingNorway WOW you guys are practically identical, you both sound and act the same to me, I SAY you and him should dig together and call yourselfs the elite diggers Norway
@MagiicDingo888 NO I AM NOT. I started making MD YT videos way before that. BUT I like their videos... nice movies.... I am, not the same family/person , what ever. But they are really good and I try to watch all their films. :)
@justanotherpulltab well JAPT, someone passed a question from their wife here the other day. It went something like this: "What??? Does this guy ever work???" here is my answer (reflect) I DONT HAVE A WIFE (nor kids, dogs, birds, flowers etc etc) I am free..
I enjoyed the video and more of your wit and tidbits of historical wisdom. I'd love it if you would share what brands of MD's the club members like to use most.
@MickTwin basically we all kinds: Minelab, Fisher, XP and Whites are the most popular.... Fsiher and Minelab probably having tha largest market share... personally I have used both minelab nad XP Deus.... I still use Minelab for unerwater (excal) and XP Deus for overwater... HH! and thx for watching... Br DN
As always great video ! hope you can find a little free time to get in some more hunting before winter sets in :) great to see you back out in the field :) take care and HH !
digging Norway and digging Hedmark.... 2 of the best subscriptions I ever made! I found a silver 3 pence 1860( queen Victoria) the last time I was hunting, this is the best hobby in the world! HH from Scotland!
@gravediggermax the archeologist? quite cute and enthusiastic actually ;) I wish all gov. employees were like her... then i am sure they would receive more finds and data.... sadly that is not the staus quo. However, science progress one funeral at the time...
I always enjoy detecting close to home the best..of course it's mostly the beaches. My favorite finds are the Gold Rings. I would love, also, to find a Gold Coin. Amazingly there's a fellow here in California with a dozen Gold Coins found over a 20 something span of time.
@drjoeprime well, this was actually not close to home... about 120kms of train+car ride, but it was worth it. <Happy hunting in "Cally" - thx for watching and HH!
@dapappacn well... at leats I am partially back. setting up the new business + finishing my thesis occupies most of my time, hopefully I'll get a couple of more hunts before the snow sets in... this summer has been horrible, climate wise... thx for watching - glad you enjoyed your prize :D
