i was just curious if you had problem with sketching in photoshop. cause when i draw, it seems to lag a bit and i would sometimes get a huge black line going across the screen (most likely due to my resting hand).

other than that, great video! the song really matches the cartoon x)

@l0oney please tell me if you have noticed what i heard from some people, that you can't actually rest your hand on the screen while drawing, and if you were able to solve this problem. tell me also what else you didn't like about this machine, in drawing, and in general,, i will really take by your opinion in deciding whether to buy it for drawing and sketching or not,, as people who try it are the best to know from,,,, thx a bunch! i would also appreciate other feedback of other who tried it.

@l0oney there must be a way to turn off the multi-touch feature that makes the palm and hand detected on the surface, and to keep only the pen's tip detected. And then you switch back to the touch and multitouch sensitive mode when you want to use your hand or fingers to click on stuff ( like when browsing the web in bed or something)

do you have any idea if someone can do that??

@VideoDocR Yeh we need to turn off the multi-touch feature when you draw on Photoshop. I do not know the names of English menu on Window 7, but I'll try to help you. :) The best would be to post a shortcut to access it.

Control Pannel >> Pen and Input Device >> Touch >> [no] Enable multi-touch input devices.

@TitashTheMeerkat you kinda can there is no good software for it yet but if you go into the device manager there are 2 things that do the touch screen one for finger and one for pen just disable the touch one takes a while but it's worth it if your working in photo shop for hours... i do this when i'm work9ing in flash

I just have a little lag but that does not affect my drawing use.

But it is necessary to disable the multitouch to draw on Photoshop, otherwise we can not put our hand on the screen, when you use the stylus. ;)

Haha vive les marteaux xD Ou les masses^^ Je ne sais plus vraiment quel mot utiliser... En tout cas, c'est vraiment très réussi ! Tu as de la chance d'avoir ce TouchSmart^^ Cela dit, est-ce que la pression d'une main pourrait affecter l'écran ou non? (comme quoi le curseur pourrait éventuellement venir se positionner à l'endroit où la main fait pression.) Bref, c'est hallucinant une tel maîtrise de la coloration ! Bonne continuation ;) !

@LynkaWolf Merci :) Non la "vitre" qui recouvre l'écran supporte la pression d'une main ou du stylet. Apparemment on peu y aller fort mais je n'essayerai pas LOL. Donc on affecte à aucun moment l'affichage de l'écran. ;) Le soucis c'est que lorsque l'on dessine au stylet, il est préférable de désactiver la fonction tactile multitouch pour éviter d'éventuels tracés non voulu en faisant reposer la main sur l'écran.

I'm trying to figure out the technique you're using to color, it seems so quick and simple- Is it the touchsmart tablet that allows you to simply click-fill like that or is there a special tool? I'd kill to know how to do that xD I'm guessing it isn't the paint bucket tool because it doesn't leave little spaces... It seems so much more quick and fun.

If the tool is "paint", but it must process and prepare the image so that it works correctly. And sometimes it is necessary to refinish. When I have time I will detail my technique on my blog. The true duration of this video is more than an hour.

Pour ce qui est sur cette vidéo, plus d'une heure... A cela il faut ajouter le crayonné, l'encrage, ainsi que la colorisation des lineart (lignes de dessin)... Là je ne sais pas trop combien de temps j'ai mis au final.
