I had this done last week. I'm just glad I didn't see this very informative medical video BEFORE I had it done! I had killer heartburn, sometimes for no reason and it turned out to be a hiatal hernia.

@JessePiano Its the Shatzki ring(dnt know how it spelled right) but its a narrowing at the bottom part of the esophagus. It is usually located a bit above the gastro-esophageal junction. People that have it sometimes develop such symptoms as dysphagia.
