All three of the artists are targeting someone specific. Nelly and Justin are retaliating against people who said something unflattering about their work. Justin Timberlake is responding to what Prince said re: Sexy Back, Nelly Furtado is responding to what Fergie said re: Promiscuous and Timbaland targeted Scott Storch.
