I’m happy with my 94 325i, but the only performance mods are sport suspension and the Signature Motoring performance intake for about $150. Signature Motoring kit adds around 9HP on the dyno, great sound, and the best performance upgrade for the money. See my channel videos!

I'm sorry to tell you but installing a k&N-Filter (the version without cam) results in most time in losing performance.

But because you get really great sound, you THINK, you get more horsepower. Your engine gets hot air instead of cold one.

Try & compare it on a known road and you see, what i mean. Espacially in summer

@Lame323ti LOL, any true perfromance intake kit comes with a HEAT SHIELD, that is the whole point. I suggest you visit my channel and watch some of the videos to educate yourself on performance cold air intakes. Thanks.

With a heat shield the air intakes works much better, thats right. But maybe you can test it on dyno. In my and in the cars of many of my mates there where less horsepower with "sports air-filters"

Also there is the problem with small dust particles (I know, the K&N-Filters are oiled...) But drive one car with a k&n-Filter and another one without one for 10.000 miles and look into the injection manifold after that. You may be surprised. But anywhay, the white E30 is a great car

@Lame323ti Nah, I have the Signature Motoring performance intake kit in my 330ci. HP gain is guaranteed with their kit. I drive pretty agressively and could tell right away there is some gain in real driving conditions.
