the real battlefield is about controlling vital points to continue pushing back the frontline, its not always about getting kills.. snipers shouldnt be running around, standing away from cover. they should be spotting from a medium distance... its about keeping as least amount of casualties, by using these types of drones and mortar strikes to carry out tasks that is important to the team capturing bases.

The EOD has a awful turning rate on the PC version... I hold it and it spins like some disco bot... I was forced to tap-tap-tap-tap the key to make it turn...

Not to mention the controls in general gets bad because DICE didn't give you more configuration on turning turrets and sensitivity for all vehicles...

Heck, a lack of ini or config file is what makes BF3 fails, because you CAN'T Tweak it at all!

I think it's just a bug that they didn't fix and never will. The problem are the textures. Sometimes even tanks react to a buggy texture like the EOD Bot does, but tank is on a much bigger scale, so it doesn't do it all the time, like the Bot does.

@hateifly actually, I do happen to know what a "beta" is smart ass. I do play games other than COD. I've played quite a few beta's in my time and found bf3 to be one of the worst. Beta's tend to be a pretty good representation of what a final is going to be like, and that's why I will save my money for MW3.

Does anyone know if you can run over enemy players with the EOD bot? Some people said that they were successful at doing that. When I tried it didn't work. Also, apparently, all vehicles in BF3 can "sprint" as it said in the tips during loading. It works with the tank, I forgot to try the other vehicles though...maybe you can "sprint" with the EOD bot to run over people. Anyway, it is so amusing to play with the bot :D

The EOD bot can kill players and disarm the bomb. It's very difficult to drive, as it's on two sets of tracks, so it spins a lot. You have to get a good start going straight before it moves well.

@BlackOpsSucksBallz Really? I've personally never used it, but I thought it looked pretty useful considering it's made for arming M-COMs rather than actually killing people. Although, after you take out an objective with it, I suppose it would be a pretty nice weapon for flanking the enemies with. Oh well, I'll unlock it in about 2 more games, so we'll see :D

Plus you'd get way more kills running and gunning than using the bot to get kills, might be good for stalemate battles
