@ryanrocksteady1355 Nah, go further and let Rex Murphy do the interview. 10 minutes into it, while Billy Bob tries to understand the huge words Rex is using, along with the audience and everyone else, he will be so confused, and the interview will end up about politics in Newfoundland and have nothing to do with movies or music. Win win!

I like the Boxmasters way better than Tom Petty. What upset BB is that Gian had promised not to talk about his acting career then opened up the interview by introducing him as an actor.

@cfcreative1 No. What Jian did was give the listeners some context as to who it was he was about to interview. It is no different than what he does with every guest, in providing the listening audience with some background. Once he began the actual interview, he launches right into questions about the band, and not his film career. Mr. Thornton needs to behave like a grown-up and if he hopes for respect for his music career, he needs to begin by earning it and not by being a petulant child.

The only reason the thoroughly bland Boxmasters, with their mediocre drummer, "Bud", go any air time was because of Billy Bob's film career. Otherwise this totally lackluster vanity project would have been the not-news it actually is.
