Two things. First: Wasn't DT bitching about Mike's huge drum kits? How is this any better? Second: As someone that owns the high octoban set and was looking for higher pitched drums for years, they don't really cut it. I ended up taking an angle grinder and slicing a few of the bottoms off to crank the pitch WAY up. Why doesn't Tama do this with at least one octoban? Just cut the drum in half and you've got that awesome pip-squeaky drum like Niel Peart on Red Barchetta's high drum fill!

I guess the front heads will be with the new album art and ported as well, but it's friggin awesome!! Only complaint - I know Pearl can paint the rack black. I they did so, it would top the scale of insane kits! ;-)
