  • @MBHbeirutathens хуй соси

  • Very interesting to watch!

  • "Nuclear explosion for peaceful purposes" Something is wrong with that sentence if you ask me.

  • @peternilsson789 nuclear bombs can be used for peace if you dont ues it for wrong porposes. guns are a bad thing... do you think the police or army is bad because they have guns? they protect the peace.

nukes can be used against asteroids or creating lakes like this.

  • Geological engineering.

  • @peternilsson789 actualy they didnt use this to kill people, they use them to make life easyer for them :)

  • @peternilsson789 That's because it wasn't a weapon testing; it was to help people and make life easier. The US did similar things in Alaska.

  • Cough* fallout* *cough*

  • fuck me thats alot of salt

  • " nuclear explosion for pieceful purposses"

    LOL XD

  • the lake is an origin of a volcano......2 miutes later theres a fuckn bomb blowing the shit out of earth...wtf

  • In Soviet Russia radiation heals you

  • @Lwyte17 LOL!

  • I think everyone is aware of kazakhstan now, does the title really have to say russia

  • This channel is so ridiculous. It's way worse than fox news, and that's saying a lot.

  • It's so. Mysterious

  • fucking soviets!

    never again!

  • there is shit on my god damn lake!!!!!

  • Nuclear weapons for peaceful purposes? Dont make me laugh!

  • You might want to type "Background radiation" into Wikipedia. As you're watching this video, or typing up a comment on it, natural radiation is sleeting through your body. Some is cosmic radiation, some is from the ground under you. You can't get away from it. The important thing is to not worry. Stress about it ("radiophobia") will make you sick far, far faster than radiation would. It's unikely you'll ever be hurt by radiation, but people die from stress all the time.

  • To this day, no one really knows the effect (good/bad/ugly) of very low level radiation. How much you get from Kindly Old Mother Nature ... "naturally" ... depends on where you live. You're much more likely to get sick from stressing out over radiation than from radiation itself. Learn a little about it, you won't worry. Your body handles it.

  • ok useing nukes to make homes for fish that right>

  • i want to swim in it so i can grow another cock on my head

  • @doh1959 you don't need to swim in it....you're a big enough dickhead already

  • @bubblehead631 i cant take you seriously you eat bacon with maple syrup

  • mmmmm... salt

  • @50ways2leave

    mmmmm... uranium salt :d

  • Some of you people just don't want to listen what it is said on this film. Peaceful purpose - to create a reservoir for water. Those there early tests. I think nowdays those test are made deep beneath the surface. Anyway, US made more nuclear tests than anyone else. And both sides are pretty the same.

  • Wouldnt it have been easier to just dig the hole? 400+ meters across and 100+ deep? Thats not very soviet.

  • thats how they make piranhaas...

  • Peacefull purposes mean. "a choke hold on America."

  • Make me think of song Eminem- love the way you lie

  • So many hate comments about the nuclear tests. Did you kids even watch the whole video? A lot is explained about the explosions and dont go all smartass on me because Soviet Union and USA were playing a game on who can build more, and stronger nuclear warheads, so I can assure you that USA did as many or many even more nuclear tests as Soviets did

  • that radioactive lake is where the real lockness monster lives! haha

  • " the lake has 20 times the normal amount of radiation but no one knows if its dangerous or not " Are you freeking kidding me ?

  • @hanksnow82

They're from ex-Soviet Union, what can you expect.

  • @MembThePenguinII After swimming in the irradiated lake for 10 yrs Vladimir noticed he was growing a fin on his back

  • @hanksnow82 20 times the normal amount of radiation every day for 5 years wouldn't even do anything to you.

  • @hanksnow82 that's the point. There is still much unknown about radiation and its effects on humans. People tend to freak out at the mere mention of it but there are many documented cases of radiation exposure decreasing cancer rates, of radiation having other healing properties we do not yet understand. That is the whole point of the video.

  • @hanksnow82

It's worse it exceeds safety regulation 20 times, not just normal levels, which are below safety regulations.

  • @hanksnow82 "freaking"

  • @hanksnow82 The normal amount is very small. So small multiplying it by 20 is no big deal.

  • @urgle55 Good you swim in it .

  • @hanksnow82 Buy me a plane ticket from the US to Russia :)

  • Why do you want to kill us russia? Most of your videos are about war, why can't we just do a peace treaty? We got innocent mexican's, asians, African, samoans all types of races in our country, just live life and have fun...

  • @FortressFTW Don't wary, we don't wanna kill you. It looks so dangerous because of anti Russian TV-channels in USA (like BBC). Visit us once without stereotypes from TV and believe me you'll change your mine.

  • 21:30 lol

  • @Soulfree2008 preach it, brother. ignore tha haters, they are simply ignorant to reality: We are all one in the same, pawns to the global players. :) no reason to hate eachother so much

  • LMFAO RT news is always good for a laugh. These guys make FOX news look good.

  • 17:50 XD that guy runs like a girl kinda... lol

It be fun to be a geologist XD

  • To meanjoebean...I didn't steal anything from anybody. And the fact that I am 1/2 cherokee I am not pissed at ANYONE. I am only grateful that I live in this country.

You are just as corrupt as the government you support. And yes, you support it everytime you pay taxes or buy ANYTHING.

And BTW, why are native Americans "GOD'S MOST PEOPLE PEOPLE"????

You don't even know what you are saying, therefore your comment means NADA.

  • Racism is amusing. All the colours of the rainbow hate all the other colours of the rainbow, just 'cause. Stereotypes and generalising for everyone!

  • чё за очередной пиздёж от америкософ

  • why would the water NOT be radioactive? What a stupid soviet idea... yes, we make reservoir with atom bomb, brilliant!

  • @nelson3300 lol right exactly what i was thinking!

  • >why would the water NOT be radioactive?

R u from US? Do you know why Pierre and Maria Curry died? Because high dozes of radiation they took in working process with radioactive materials. They didn't know about rad. emmition. 1950's -- the beginning of nuclear arms era.

  • @Nitrorus man, americans have no idea who Curries were...

  • @Nitrorus How do you figure Im an American by that statement? I am admitingly speaking with hindsight bias, and completely agree with what you are saying.

There is no reason to attack me for being American, thats a good way to make me hate foreigners :)

  • Exposure Table: 200 - 300 rads has a 35% chance of fatality after 30 days.. O_O

  • Iran has the most naturally radioactive lakes in the world. Can't remember how radioactive exactly, but quite a bit than a normal person should be exposed to. Anyways, people in those regions live longer, healithier, and have a much greater tolerance to radiation.

  • @dm1133 That sounds like a load of crap

  • Ok I like RT, for news balance... But an underground atomic test for peaceful purpose ?! please!!!

  • @jamaro65 maybe it was peaceful in terms of safety? That is a valid point though.

  • @jamaro65

Correction! Not "test", but Teraforming. One boom and you got a hole 400m wide 100m deep.

  • @jamaro65

yes did u listen what they said after that? They wanted to use nuclear warheads to mine due to the blast being 1000x any TNT can produce

  • @jamaro65 The U.S. tried the same thing under "Operation Plowshear."

  • @1st503rdSGT Really? well... I might say.... different empire same shit !?

  • After watching this I can't help but notice that even though our governments may be so different, the people seem to be quite similar while leading their daily lives.

  • fallout 3 ?

  • the first underground nuclear test for peaceful purposes was set off? how many for unpeaceful purposes did they do?

  • Seriously, they should make tests from the lake bottom instead n see what it looks like below the lake bottom, before they should call the lake "safe".. not "yup, it looks ok on the surface = safe".
