man everything Obama has said inspired and filled me with hope. Everything about this man is powerful and inspiring. I'm white and am disgusted that some people think I'm only voting for Obama because he's black. Does this mean that everyone voting for McCain is voting for him because he's white?
I'll admit, I deleted a bunch of your crap. If you had anything meaningful to say, I would be more tolerant, but man I get tired of the same worn out lies over and over again.
Well you've had your say here haven't you? It's the right that wants to distract the public from the central issues of the war and the economy (which are closely related by the way) which is understandable given their recent record on these issues!
THANKS for bringing these issues out, I tried to tell my best friend that there are still STUPID people in this world, who would twist the truth, just to get a dumb point across, AND some people are actually believing this non-sense, that the MCCAIN/CLINTON campaign is throwing out there, it is wrong and everybody knows it, We need to face up to it, this world is changing and GOD is answering prayers for this nation, and he sent us BARACK OBAMA. RECONIZE!! IT. BARACK IS THE NEW PRESIDENT !!
How Hillary Clinton is saying ANYTHING is amazing!!! Hillary Clinton who made $109 million last year alone...AND was born with a SILVER-SPOON in her mouth!!!!! Is trying to convince us that she identifies with us! hahaha! WHAT A LIAR!
Small time people are bitter about how the Government has forgotten them--Just like Obama said!
Obama is FIGHTING TO CHANGE this in Washington, GET JOBS BACK!!! Obama has to say what people are upset about to HELP!
He hasn't embraced gay marriage, hihats--he simply opposes the persecution of gay people under "don't ask, don't tell." Possibly you need help understanding the difference.
uh huh...and where are all these gays who feel persecuted? seems to me that the ones who're persecuted now are those who haven't gotten in step with the gay agenda...
"don't ask don't tell" was from the great Bill Clinton era...I thought that was supposed to be a godsend to gays in the military...and by the way...you can't ask about one's relationships on a job interview.there's no asking going on to begin with.
He's not embraced it. He's opposed to it, in fact. What he is in favor of is equal rights, and federally recognized civil unions.
Seems the American thing to do to me --"All men are created equal" and all that-- and hopefully the majority of Hoosiers aren't in favor of discrimination.
4. Lied about being at the sermons, went there for 20 years(a church founded on black racist ideals, research it), called wright his "uncle", and called his grandmother a "typical white person".
5. Never did answer the real questions during his speech on race, he just distracted the issue once again, and contradicted his earlier statements about being at the sermons.
I haven't heard an official number. Keep in mind that the Obama event was self-limited. They definitely could have drawn more people if they'd wanted.
well, i was there watching obama. there was less people watching obama then there was clinton, because you didnt have to get tickets to see clinton, but you did for obama. they wanted to make it more a town meeting type thing so they only allowed around 3,000 people. and i was one of the lucky ones:]
