If you really need a camera, u should buy the sx200.

Or u can wait untill the sx210 comes out this march.

Could you please tell me that can we power the SX200 directly with USB or we are obliged to use the battery . . . because for a long time I dont know battery will withstand or not ???? How you did at your end .... please share your experience . . . Takecare

yeah u need battery, i have 3 battery's, so i can switch if another one is charging or emty.

but if u dont use youre camera you should take out the battery.
