Staind is good. I used to listen to Break the Cycle when I was angry, it would help me to calm down. Then my husband played "Tangled Up In You" for me the day he got home from his last deployment and I listen to that album when I'm sad and am missing him (deployed again). First I heard this song, a friend of mine told me I needed to hear it. Good song, sad tho.
@jtcollin95 I almost took my life a few years ago but I was listening to Tormented...but it was such a damn good album, I put the pills away and just drank...but I woke up the next morning...
hmmm.... thats kinda trippy in its self would you agree? All of Staind songs have jumped out at me, and done some thing for me profound. Staind, one of the greatest bands ever.
Staind by far in my book is the best band. Aaron always has the words to describe my feelings. Mike's guitar style is brilliant, chunky and gritty, his playing always describes how i feel. Johnny April is a sick bass player, he slams out those low phat riffs that make my heart stop. Jon Wysocki is one of the most underrated drummers. The way he hits the kit is indescribable. Staind writes the soundtrack of my life. Their music is why I am alive today!!!!
I love when he says "so you choose, to break my heart" its so filled with emotion and its very beautiful how he sings and conveys his feelings effortlessly.
i like the guitar at the begining...sounds really shakey, like someone would be when they reached their limit, like what i think this song is about...
This song has so much emotional connection with me, it's almost Earth-shattering to hear and feel it...
This will forever be my go-to song when I fight with my best friend: so many times last year--way too many to count--I sat and played this on repeat, and it hit so hard no matter how long I listened to it.
Ive loved aaron way back when he was in Jcat. This man is truly amazing and thats all there is to it. I love how aaron is true and doesnt sing about random shit. He talks from the heart, Most powerful thing.
@grimreap93 my daughter i named her zoe jane after the song. i meant not original in the sense that naming your kids after songs. ive met quite a few delilahs mindys sandys etc.....
for me, everything theyve put out is amazing. they have a wide range of songs theyve put out. tormented was their darkest album but it was amazing. their newer stuff is a little softer and uplifting, not as dark but its still great. they have played all i want, believe and this is it on a few radio stations here. im so glad they are getting more attention paid to them, like all i want being in an american idol commercial. they deserve it.
Alright, quick question. Might you know why it's "Take This" on some albums, but "Trippy" on others? It's "Trippy" on mine, same song and everything. It's weird.
Awesome song, though. I don't care what they call it, haha.
@batstewart Some songs have more then one name so they split albums equally. For example one of my favorite songs is by Cute is What We Aim For and they have a song titled both Crush and Risque. They are the same exact song just different names.
@cristalia09usagi I understand that they may have more than one name for a song during the initial production stage, but by the time they start actually making it they should have just one name for each song, mostly to prevent confusion.
@cristalia09usagi having two names for the same song... thats like making a movie or writing a book and publishing it with two dif names on the same book... like... litterally makes no sense to do so.
And yet... another AMAZING song.

I always loved Staind's more softer albums than Tormented or Dysfunction. You just feel the pain and the sadness in his voice.

album readings got confused when computers read the songs or something like that

I've seen it as both, so I don't think it's my computer. I think it's just different versions of CD's.
