CANNED LAUGHTER ACTUALLY WORKS..! It tries to put you in the mood and set an atmosphere.Its not just there to tell you where the joke is or 'when to laugh',although thats partly true.The confusion is so many shows use it that are truly rubbish! Try two and a half men without the laugh track=its awful! I know it, because even with the laughter, its still awful. I would argue that some shows that are funny, actually 'feel' better with one-but live shows should keep the original audience! XD *LOL*

I dont mind the big bang theory, it has its moments (similar to Friends when it started off-Janis was probably the funniest character on there, even though ironically NOT one of the main characters)... but there are still some crap jokes thrown in there.. I still cant bare to watch two and a half men though.. ever.
