Why do people say that Mewtwo is unlocked after 20 hours of play?

In reality its 10 hours at most. Unless you are hacking and playing by yourself for 20 hours.

Oh, that is just f**ing great, I wanna unlock Luigi. Is there another way of unlocking him? I fought Luigi as Jigglypuff, but the only thing that happened after I cleared the mode was getting the Jigglypuff trophy. WTF!!!!!

For Mewtwo, does that just mean you can leave the game on for 20 hours? Or does it have to be on a Vs. mode match? If it has to be on the Vs. mode match, can it be on pause? Or will that not work?

@DinosGoRawr8 You have to be in a VS. match. I recommend having 4 controllers plugged in at a stock match. Also, if you have more controllers plugged in, then it's less time you have to play.

What i never understood is why would they say 20 hours in total? Technically, at the very minimum you have to play Melee for 10 hours, then like a little over six then 5 hours. You can't play Melee by yourself

@moneymaker11ist Go to one player mode. Click event match. Go to event match twenty nine and beat it. You will face ganon with two stocks and you will be link with only one stock and zelda will be your ally with one stock as well.  Win and then defeat ganon one more time after you beat the event match. If you fail the challenge after you beat event match 29 you will have to redo it. (In order to get to event match 29 you have to do all the ones before it , not that hard)

here's a trick, when you go to bed at night. Just plug in two controllers and choose a harmless stage in VS. mode to battle on. After that, leave your gamecube/wii on all night. Thats an easy way to get him :)

whts funny is for mewtwo i just used my fav. character and random char. for plyrs 2,3 and 4 (i did this around 8:00) then went to pokemon stadium put all char. in middle unpluged controlls then went to sleep (o yeah after i unpluged the controlls i turned off my T.V) then went to sleep.
