There's recent news about HH Penor Rinpoche being sympathetic to DS monks which you can read about on dorjeshugden{DOT}com. Monks are humans too, whether DS practitioners or not, and they need to eat. Denying them food and medical aid just isn't compassionate, regardless of their practice.

It caused a serious crash between Dorje Shugden believers and non-believers in Tibet.
