My vote goes for a cut in excise... There are some magnificent micro brewed beers out there, why cripple their businesses and force people like me to consume the second rate product from CUB.
It's such a great thing that microbreweries have started to pop up and take hold in Oz, especially in Victoria -- a VERY welcome alternative to the mass-produced CUB stuff. Some really great beers are coming out of these micros, it would be dreadful if they had to fold because of these excise taxes.
All of Victoria's microbreweries craft some absolutely fantastic beer. Excise tax is taking all the fun out it for everyone. "Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy." Benjamin Franklin
