  • Sadly this place burnt down aprrox. a year ago. Used to go there alot and hear Danny Baty play. A great artist. Be on the lookout for him, he's gonig to make it.

  • Rock 'n Roll would never have made it if it hadn't been for Bob, the Silver Moon and Jarvis' Tavern in Jackson County. The two latter were in Newport. I am proud to say I have met and played with Sonny Burgess (although not professionally) in my lifetime. Sonny graciously let me accompany him while donating his time to entertaining local nursing home residents. Sonny is a great guy and an asset to music.

    Anyway I had some Great Memories of Growing up in Amagon and Newport.

  • no,walnut ridge and hoxie.but my aunt and uncle use to own the little gas station in newport next to the skating rink,but that was a long time ago.

  • I grew up in Walnut Ridge,spent a lot of time and money in Bob's.I still go in there every time I come home. I love that place. RIP Bob. Gary Gray
