Thanks for the tut. I'm using SW 2012 and am unable to select references for the inserted plane. When I click on the end of the spiral I get nothing, Same if I try to click anywhere on the feature. Any tips?
Thank you for that fantastic tutorial! I just started using solidworks and bought the SolidWorks 2011 book which covers beginner to advanced topics, and is very comprehensive. I often use the book as a reference to go through.
You need to re title and add that this is soft ware tutorial. Do you have any idea on how to physically make a real working spring, what the bake temp. and time is?
i am making a basic steam engine in sw2010 at my school..i have made the spring but can u make a vid on mating to spring in an assembly? i can never get it to mate properly..thanks
