  • damn that was a good start tho. Im gonna try in my BNR32

  • @Ellisinho9 thanks

  • This guy cant shift for shit...And hes not holding the revs long enough..Or maybe im wrong because i drive a rotary lol

  • nice run

  • Hopefully the day comes when i can legally import the car i love. I hate our stupid importation laws God so ass backwards. Till then all i can do is save up my money.

  • @xeong5 At 25 years old, the first 1989 R32 GT-R's will be legal. I will be importing a few nice ones. Doing California certification on them for the guys in California.

  • @tyndago Nice i live in Illinois so i get lucky there. Hopefully i can meet someone else in my state that will be doing the same.

  • @xeong5 No problem, I will be able to cover Illinois. I have been working on the Nissan Skyline GT-R for the last 11 years. Look me up - Sean Morris.

  • @xeong5 that's so shitty, we've had R32's for years in Canada :)

  • he didnt really miss it, he put it in neutral thinking it was 4th by mistake, you can see where he moved his hand thinking it was in gear

  • @jthomas56 I missed it either way. Some days the Getrag 6 speed gearbox just makes my life tough. I try and shift a little too fast.

  • @tyndago o ok, you did a good job either way, how do you go about racing professionally?

  • @jthomas56 its not really professionally. Just show up with a car, and you get to race. IDRC is having an event Sept 4th in Fontana, CA. Check out my blogs for more info.

  • Sucks you missed the shift. That was a nice lap.

  • wtf thats the weirdest deiven iv ever seen he cant deive for shit if u ask me

  • 1:14 he fuck it have a look !!!

  • dude why did you shift back down to 2nd? thats why you lost

  • He slipped the gear, didnt u hear it crunch

  • wow nice! missing gears happens....shit happens.

  • Missed fourth, what a shame.

  • Missing a gear isn't a shame. It happens sometimes. Even the Best Motoring drivers do sometimes in theire videos and they just laugh about it.

  • it's a shame that he mis shifted because it could have been faster, i don't think he was trying to pay him out.

  • you don't missed 4 gear like that maybe 2 to 3 or 4 to 5 but not 3 to 4

  • powned

  • does he have the handbrake as a switch for the 2 step or......??

  • The incar ? No, its in the AEM ECU , 6500 rpms , under 10 mph. I was feathering the throttle a little. You hear it come on for a sec, and then go off right before I launched. I should have just kept my foot down a little more to keep it on the 2 step.

  • He does it so he can brake when he's revving the engine. He can't hit the brake, obviously. So he just uses the E-brake.

  • Mine was fitted with one from Japan, it monitors speed. Once you're rolling faster than about 1km/h it switches over.

I haven't looked to see where it's rigged up though, took me a while to work out what was switching it.

Think but, bouncing off 2-step, add some load with handbrake + slight clutch, more boost again.

    Then let it all go!

That's probably what he's doing.. But some use the handbrake for 2step.

  • Its a street car... our race cars have cages in them.

  • bring the car to florida, ill build you a cage ...

  • We can build a cage, but its a matter of the owner not wanting to put a cage in the car.

  • why not put a cage hell regret it if he doesnt put 1

  • Just a street car, we don't want to put a cage in it.

  • too bad R324 missed 4th gear. Or else would probably be 10.9~11.2. But XS R32 definately has the top end thou. I guess that would be the difference between a 750whp(XS Car) vs 600whp (RB car)

  • Steering wheel gasket failure. The Getrag gets me a lot. I have some issues with it. Try and shift too fast, and flub gears. Best pass this day was 11.0@131. I also did an 11.1@128 mph. Under what I am supposed to run without a cage. The 60 foots were not that hot.

  • its a 20yr old car, its about that range

  • not bad considering he has 200 hp more : )

  • oh well. cant have a perfect run all the time

  • looked like you missed 4th, neck and neck until then

  • Actually I was out in front. If you watch the outside video, I got a better reaction time than Eric in the XS car. The XS car has 200 more wheel horsepower, so I had to have a really good pass to try and beat him. When I saw him coming up beside me, I messed up the shift... Stupid on my part.

  • that was smart.. like u missed a gear

when he already passed u =/.......

  • LOL You got pwned!

  • Yes. Win some lose some. The older you get, the more you realize this. That was the best pass that the XS car did. Against me.

  • i like the way you think youll get him next time

  • The XS car is pretty quick. 850 whp vs 650 whp in RB's R32.

Still fun either way. Winning or losing, I am still drag racing a 600+ hp GT-R.

  • It is a Getrag - 6 speed transmission. They are a little rough to shift in a GT-R. In the 1/8th the week before, I hit every shift. Over the two days , I missed 4th a few times. A little disappointed at myself.I use the handbrake to load up the car, so you don't have that violent bang when you drop the clutch.

  • You running one of those dog boxes in there? And am I right to say that you used the hand brake to load the transmission? Other than that sweet run, sucks you missed fourth though :(

  • un lucky missed 4th

  • pollo para pasar los cambios

  • Sí me perdí el cambio cuando el otro coche pasó

  • i love your videos...only wish better sound i love the way they sound
