As far as I'm aware, Korg issued a PCB option that would make the back end of the audio path analog or behave like an analog mixer. As there are only a few users who can't get on with a more or less totally digital signal path, this is chargegable as it's seem from moving away from the original design and what Korg designed it to be.
Shabbee ¿where can i read more about this PCB and digital signal? ¿do you know somethig about Korg controllers for windows vista 64 bit? ¿do you think there would be issues working in 64 bits?
I have to decide this week what to buy.
What other mixer would you recommend similar to korg Zero 8 MIDI MIxer?
I was thinking the EVO 5, but the price is two times higher!!!
There aint no hiss problem, it's a digital mixer and if you don't use it properly you won't get the best s/n ratio. The Zero Mixers are incredible and the sound quality is exceptional. Don't be put off
REad forums, this is louder then a toy mixer. It even keeps speakers from auto-off, its very loud and useless as a soundcard.. BUYER BEWARE! read forums!
Not true. Shabbee is dead right. You cannot expect to use a digital mixer the same as an analogue one. With the digital master output, the noise floor remains constant, as oppossed to how it rises relatively as overall volume rises on an analogue mixer. Therefore, digital mixers are designed to be run "hot", or at high output, rendering the releative noise floor very low relative to audio samples.
careful.. this mixer has a major hiss problem which korg is addresing.. for me its not useable because of a very loud hiss, noisefloor.. great concept though!
yeh, i've allready put my order in at me local korg dealer.....have been eatin noodles for 2 weeks so far...penny pinching and saving as much as possible!!....i think its money well spent!!
OK 3 Years 2010 and NO Vista 64 Driver support
Need I say more.
Mine is an expensive Paper weight.
Shame on Korg, I wont even think about buying any more of their products.

@UltraBeatZ , Yes I have, many times but decided not to, and get my moneys worth using it as a stand alone mixer without the PC connect.
Plus when I get it home it doubles as a paper weight...Lol
