I don't watch The View anymore...I MUCH prefer The Talk...Those women are much more calm and level headed and don't talk over each other, the way this bunch does...The View should change its name to The Loo...Leah, Sara, Sharon, Holly and Julie are much easier to watch and they don't talk about politics and gossip the way The View women do, and they don't argue with their guests either, the way the women of The View often do, or storm off the set, as happened when Bill O'Reilly guested.

Mark Harmon graduated cum laude from UCLA with a degree in Communication in '74. He's way too smart for questions like these. He comes from an era when being an actor was all about the work and never about gossip or scandals or tabloid news.

Not wanting to show off his personal life is one thing, being repressed and cold like that is another. This man is like a robot : " I don't know, I don't know ... ". Lighten up !! The women asked normal questions. I mean if you have nothing to say AT ALL, you don't come to the View. I don't think he's boring or shy, but he seems that way ... He's a good actor though

I've seen Mark on other shows and he always has a good time with the host...These women just kept asking him nonsensical questions that were all over the place...The problem with a guest like Mark on a show like this is that they're not used to having someone who has no bad press or scandals and who has a strong and happy marriage and who is on the number on show on tv and therefore the most successful actor in prime time...Mark Harmon's humility is what sets him apart from his peers.

Mark Harmon deserves all the success he has gotten with NCIS...He's a very hardworking, dedicated and loyal actor who is in this for more than fame and fortune...Mark is very humble, and genuinely so, and his humility endears people to him...The women of "The View" didn't have much to talk with Mark about because they're all so much into gossip, rumours and sensationalism..Barbara is silly to have said, "Give them your best", re Mark's parents, when Mark's dad, Tom, has been dead for many years.

I think he's so cool. He's level headed and knows how not to take his fans, his cast members, and his family for granted, that's why we love the show so much. Too bad young hollywood does not know this. I keep remembering him on St. Elsewhere.

Wow, talk about being in the hot seat - that's a lot of volatile estrogen to be surrounded by, but Mr. Harmon is a class act - kept his cool and sense of humor and did a fine interview. And he and Ms. Dawber are not in the tabloids because they're just out there living their lives, doing their jobs and loving their family.  They're not boozing, drugging or sleeping around, so no one takes notice. Personally, I wish more celebrities were good role models like he and his wife are.
