  • basically a demonstration of inertia

  • the one use the hammer he are in control, let audience do it then you will see.

  • not trying to lessen the amazingness of this, but the hammer was not swung down straight down. if you watch, the guy jumps back to bring the hammer back with the follow through, so most of the force did not go into the guy who was laying down, it was a glancing blow to the bricks. still... thats ridiculous

  • This is not martial arts. The sledge hamer blinds and creates fears for those who watch it. Although it might be difficult to practice the act, but it can be done on and with an average non-martial art person.

  • @thinhtnguyen okay, u can be the person lying down and I will swing down the sledge hammer.

  • wow attest monks i have ever seen

  • there are thin monks, tall monks, small monks, big monks, fat monks. they're just like normal people. btw, these arent like shaolin monks. usually a bigger physique means that they practise a certain artform, maybe like hung gar or something earthen like that.

  • =0 ok but just strange because i know this is hard, and they are kind of fat for athletes. Maybe it's like baseball?

  • depends on how they train, their metabolism, and a few different aspects of their life. Even the shaolin have husky monks. then again you may be right, they may just be like baseball players, just training in one area of expertise.

  • this looks so hard but isnt except the breaking on the head ow but if you are coffident (i had a few beers the first time i tried this) and set it up right its not that hard

  • judging from their uniforms and stances, I'm thinkin' these guys study the Hung Gar Kung Fu system. Ne 1 know for sure? didn't see nething in the info column.

  • Lousy crap!

  • easy to say for someone who has never studied Martial Arts

  • LOL 2 guys 1 hammer

  • these are real bricks. No fakes although if u see the expert village guy break the brick with the phone book. Those are specifically made by heating and taking the oxygen out of the brick alowing it to crumble or break somewhat easier than a normal brick.

  • yeah I hate seein' that stuff, that's the things that cast doubt on the real Martial Artist that can do this stuff with ease

  • I doubt that you have to be very strong to break a few bricks with a sledge hammer. and also, poor guy who had to lie underneath the bricks

  • the guy laying under the bricks is considered to be the one breaking the bricks

  • that was just to show the ability of the guy, he's toughened his body to take such strikes from pressure due to the bricks and the force of the sledge hammer hitting them, imagine a punch to the head? I doubt it would faze him.

  • Where's the Tylanol 3's? I have a headache just watching that. Couldn't even imagine what would happen if those bricks had slipped out before the hammer came down.

  • the hammer comes down in a sort of arc rather than straight down at his skull, if the bricks fell he wouldn't have hit anything

  • Hmmmmm, You really think so?

  • I'm with you. Arc or no arc I wouldn't let that nutcase swing a hammer at my brick covered head.

  • zipper - When was they to that?

  • That's gotta hurt.

  • great

  • Awesome

  • migraine, ouch.
