And even if so, where does it mean the descendants of the Hebrews, literally, are the ones who endured that metaphorical fate?
What fits better is that phrase means what it says; a warning that if the covenant is broken, the Hebrews go back into slavery.
Plus so many other things which defy all logic and reason would supernaturally have to take place to make it happen.

This stuff isn't aything new! At work I'm one of the FEW "black" ppl who talk about Jesus, don't gossip at work, don't smoke, drink, fornicate, etc... and I noticed they look at me as a threat not only becaus of this, but because I'm about to have my Associates degree in Business, I'm confident to be "black," I'm outspoken, and I do my job better than my supervisors!
