FYI. There was a debate amongst the team who carried out these dna tests because many said that the info was prematurely concluded that Tut was white without substantial evidence. Plus, Tut had sickle cell, which could only develop into a disease if BOTH parents carried the trait. He was black for goodness sake. The first Europeans were also black. R1b could very well be an early mutation that originated when Europeans were still black people.

@firstladyshine Queen Tiye's bust is dark due to the fact it is infact made from wood! and the only negroid feature on her is the Afro hair! which is most defantely a wig! as for Amenhotep lll his statues and busts dont look negroid? Yes his face is chubby and his nose is wider in some depiction of him than others! Doesn't mean he's negroid! Also the afro his wearing is most likely a wig! Genetic labels mtDNA infer only a paternal lineage, nothing more. sharing genes which are found in Caucasians does not mean they are Caucasian it just means Caucasians were linked. If you genetically test black people in the USA, years of gene mixing would show that they are genetically Caucasian. @whelbert865 It wasnt proven or else it would be accepted as fact and no longer debated besides that Zahi Hawass dude said he wasnt going to reveal the DNA of Tut so how could he let it slip past him when i am sure they do private screenings to edit or add to the finished product. I believe they chose a random DNA test to give viewers an idea of what the actual results would look like.The DNA test shown on tv was never confirmed to be Tuts it was just used as an example and that is all.

For example they thought they found queen Nefertitti body but later found out they didnt. They said Tut died of malaria,than a fatal fall,than a blow to the head it keeps changing because they dont know exactly what happened to him only speculations based on some good leads. As for his DNA I will explain what I found out on another post.
