Its not a brand problem. No piece of equipment is designed to last forever. Yes a longer lasting product that lasts 10-20 years means you'll save more money, but how does that benefit them? No manufacturer out there would dare spend even 5%-10% more on components (and 5x that much more on retail price) just to be less competitive on the shelf.
had 40 inch 3d Lcd samsung and vertical colour lines, send it back got my money and bought LG 50pz570T 5 years warranty for extra 70£ and it works magic, so yeah no samsung for me either
@maxdo123. If you are using a computer to activate the television, it is best to get more than one computer monitor. This will probably give you more screen space to work with.
LOL, it is totally nothing to do with your television. Your cable box is the culprit. Call your cable provider and have them trouble shoot over the phone and your tv should be back to normal again.
I totally agree, it's incredible that they actually sell you faulty devices for shitloads of money. To all the Mr. Fix It's here : if you buy a device its not the customers responsibility to fix the device, that's why the give you warranty :D And this will fit it into the warranty perfectly well. Btw Your problem was started when you even thought of buying a Samsung product :D:D
you have a loosen connector the one that comes out of the screen the one that is just where the black bar appeared simple as that no dead parts just loosen bad contact.
@djdesmo411 Hi have the same situation (Vertical lines) in my Vizio Plasma TV, already check the "buffers" connetions and all appears to be well connected , not loosen conectors, what else could be the problem? txs, regards
@emcuve23 Hi, ok If you have checked all the cables and connections and nothing wrong with them then Do this go back and check the ribbons that come out directly of the Glass plasma screen specially the ones where the black lines appear you should see a chip built underneath each ribbons check to see If it's cracked, swollen, popped or If there is a dark powder around it, if that's your case unfortunately you're going to have to replace the screen only the screen manufacturer can repair it.
Firm ware is not going to fix this. The way to diagnose this is to look for cables or chips that are associated with that part of the screen, and to reseat those cables or connectors. If you want to take the risk, you may open the tv when its on and move the cables around with an insulated something or press on the contact areas where the cables hook up to. Sometimes the parts that press on the cables come loose.
IK think I had a same modell. but They said for me 500 eur the new screen. So I got back my 800 eur and I bought the LG50PQ6000 modell. This is better, more expensive but nice picture and everything ok . I never buy Samsung again. If you wan a seeeee just check my OTHER video.
Its not the tv thats broke its the actual red and black wires with the little clips on the back that are either loose or not plugged in. This happened with my tv and i just fixed it i had the same problem with that black line
This problem is a dry joint on the surface mount resistors mounted on the screen connector ribbons. Just heat the joints and the problem will go away just like that
this is bad i got the same problem and actually since i had the extra cover from where i got it they gave a new one, but it happened to me two times and they replace it with in 4 months of buying it ,it got the same problem two times the company sent a service man to check it and he said its not worth to fix so they gave us another one so i was told its fixeable but i do not know what to replace because they did not take the 2 tvs
@toddwhat why do you say that? even if it is lcd whatever. no diagnoses is bad ABUS. on plasma's if you have a bad ABUS you get those lines just like that.
I had the same problem with my samsung tv. It turend out that the ZIF cable was not properly inserted into the LCD panel. After removing it and reseating the cable the line went away.

Dirty panel connector or wrong cable connection... (too many shaking (sound resonance or moving) easy to fix it if you have a fortune.).
Philipp2375 1 year ago
Definitely a problem with a connection or board. Maybe a cold solder. But those are all easy fixes ;) There's tons of guides on youtube.
