Haha I have had the same problem, I looked like a lion!! I did it again and I have to use a lot of products after to keep the frizz away and not brush threw it. Try a mouse prior and it makes the waves more crisp. Hope that helps.

@saam1393 I use a triple barrel, and what I like to do is just put some sort of hair puddy on the strand of hair prior to crimping it. It gives it really nice definition and it isnt frizzy.

@saam1393 Hey, I have the same crimper as in the video and it doesn't frizz if you spray a little bit of hair spray on the section right before you crimp it. also it won't look so much like a mad scientist if you use thicker strands of hair.. believe me, I paid 200 bucks for this thing and it made me look that way before i tried this.

@xxrawrfooxx just take your straightner and section your hair. Then starting at the tops every inch or so just like pull the straighttner upwords but keep it in the same place. theres vieos on youtube that i used its very easy!:)

Can you have naturally crimped hair? My hair is not straight or wavy or curly. It looks tightly crimped. Especially if I part it in the middle and brush it to both sides of my head.

Ya that waver sucks. It takes forever to heat up and by the time u wave one layer, u have to let it heat up again.

This video was like "Grab the tool, take some hair, put the hair between the barrel - hold. And you are done!".

If you have fine hair, you should just let the barrel waver do the work for you and not add extra heat.

yes! when I was younger almost every week I would have my mom crimp my hair she is using almost a waver and a crimper in one We used on me a real crimper that kinda made my hair big ! we loved it my hair is still in great condition go ahead CRIMP AWAY!!!:)
