  • I have a nickname for when I put my explorer into 4low... God Mode

  • 4th gen explorers arent good for offroad. 1st and 2nd gen are the best for that.

  • Yes the dirt pile doesn't look steep because it isn't. Weak.

  • I had an 02 V8 XLT no traction control or nothing did great offroad me and my dad drove that thing to the ground.

  • do you have advance track on youre truck and if so was it on or off

  • @yellowcow13 yea it has it when i put it in 4wd low it says traction control off

  • @coreyhess1 oh thanks i can tell you need a LSD the traction controal serves as a LSD but oh well the tow package explorers should have a rear LSD standard i think i have to check.

  • @yellowcow13 not if equipped with advancetrac/ rsc

  • @coreyhess1 just to give you a little help if you leave advancetrac on when you switch to 4Low it will only disable the stability/rsc portion and leave the traction on for maximum traction.

  • @k2sb20033 yea there is a ding that tells me in my message center

  • 2003 ford explorer here, v8 good for where i live lol, northern onterio, canada

  • where's part 2? also could you do a stock exhaust start up on this?

  • @bridgefa9 i have alot of videos on my camra that i havent got time to put up yet im new to youtube so it takes me a while sorry.

  • @coreyhess1 oh its all good, i just really like your truck, i have a 2006 ford explorer eddie bauer v6 in white, its pretty nice but for some reason i like the 2003-2005 body styles and there v8s.

  • @bridgefa9 okay i think i would of rather got a 2006 or newer more power and more options but they were more expensive but mine has enough power love the v8

  • @coreyhess1 do you have advance track and if so was it off or on

  • youd be surprised at just how well these things are offroad, i know i got one

  • @FordmoPar69 yea they are realy good i never have to put it in 4wd

  • @coreyhess1 actually its always in 4wd. 10% to the front always and 90% to the rear. when wheel slip is detected it will kick up to 100% to the front and the advancetrac system will actually lock the wheel to redirect the power across the axel. in theory with the right throttle input it can put 100% of the power to 1 wheel. i just got my sony HD camera ill try to post some vids.

  • this truck is 2wd?

  • @k2sb2003 its 4wd but my 1st try it was in 2wd and my 2nd try it was in 4wd low
