@PainKurosaki13 If you are talking about the gay insult, it is only used today because people used it in the past as an insult and it was well reacted to. If this didn't happen before (of course now it's way too late), it would have faded out as many other words have in the past.

Also consider this, there will be many more words in the future that people relate to as an identity and people will use as an insult, and those reacted to most will stay, others will be ignored and fail.
