One other thing TTC, and I mean this question in good faith. You make mention that Christianity is "ok too". But you know, those pesky Christians are kind of adamant that its "their way or the highway". The question is - is Christ the one and only path to salvation? Or is there Gaia the earth mother, and we don't need to concern ourselves with accepting jesus? I understand you practice acceptance, but my question is, can one live a good live without jesus?
@TaylorThaHick People have lived good lives without Jesus for thousands of years before Christianity. And thousands of years before Judaism. Christianity and Islam came from Judaism, which came from Canaanite Paganism which came from Babylonian Paganism which came from Sumerian Paganism which came from ancient archaic beliefs. Every religion comes from the same ideas and principles. You don't need Jesus for salvation, you need an open mind and the will to change.
@AdamGLewis There is no microscope (or any tool) yet in existence that allows us to physically SEE atoms, let alone neutrons, protons & electrons. Scientists only 'prove' that they exist based on how they react in different patterns when manipulated in different ways. The real issue here is that mainstream science repeatedly denies any credible research to be done on these metaphysical studies. Money talks, and if universities don't follow mainstream science, their funds are cut. Sad, but true!
Its challenging for me to write you. You seem like a nice gal, but the mix of pop psychology with fantasy (chakras, spells, etc.) cannot be good for anyone. You draw people away from thinking about their lives rationally, thereby diminishing their chances for success in the world. Are 90% of the serious wiccas you know broke? Of course they are. Are you as horrible as Christianity and Islam? No. At least Wiccans don't seem to want to make people feel bad about themselves.
@TaylorThaHick Lucky me, I'm in the 10% of 'serious wiccas' who ISN'T broke. If you only knew...we're EVERYWHERE, in all walks of life. I find it particularly sad that you seem to equate success with money. I work with people at the end of their lives and believe me, the money they made has absolutely no bearing on their success in life, but their spiritual peace of mind sure does. Remember, no one person is ever better than next, we all end up in diapers, babbling incoherently to ourselves. ;D
@rhondam1970 I don't equate success with money. I equate rationality with success. And yes, there is no shortage of people that live in a fantasy. I suppose that if I could change all Christians into Wiccas, that would be a good thing, because Wiccas don't seem to promote sacrifice as inherently virtuous. However, trading one fantasy for another is always problematic. We might find eventually find "Wiccan fundamentalists". In any case, there are much more harmful delusions than wicca

ive witnessed rituals and partook in some cause I felt whole and in connection with the goddess, so im just saying i got into paganism at 14 years old and love the religion dearly but i have loads of info on myself as a person and as of my religion. @AdamGLewis well it depends. If you're looking for some scientific proof, like magnetic waves in various points on you, or some hidden organ within those spots, that's going to be hard. Finding physical proof isn't really easy. Its more of a metaphysical proof, something some folks would claim as a false science.
@AdamGLewis Just because we can't see something, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. We tend to forget that most of science is 'proven' using only theories & those theories change over time. Many scientific theories that were once believed to be facts have later been refuted with real evidence. We have no way of seeing chakras, but we also have no way of seeing protons & electrons, yet we believe they exist because we can see things happen around them. The same can be said for chakras,
I really don't appreciate what you said about teens, I'm a teenager and have been interested in the just purely nature side, not sthe magick spell casting side side since I was 5 and found out my neighbour was Wiccan. I've now been researching the religious side of it for about 2 years now and I am ready for a dedication which I will be performing on Monday. If she were to say, "you should go see a reiki specialist!", so you go see one and realize it's not right for you. Well, that wouldnt be a very pleasurable experience. Chakra @ the top of the skull is always open and takes aLOT of conscious effort to close it - which is a sorta self destructive thing to do. Though some say it's uncloseable but it can get clogged w/negative emotions.
@AdamGLewis Yes, true. Facts are pretty good. However, its important to note that not everything can just be scientifically proven. After all, science is still advancing. One day you might find a person who will invent a device to do what a person who is strong with their third eye can do and examine Chakras. Plus, not everything in this lifetime is meant to just be understood. Some people can go through life, accepting some things, but never have any idea how it works or anything.

i agree about the chakras. i am a practicing Witch for about 12 years, and a natural healer and herbalist. and everything, i mean everything can be "enhanced" by out chakras and auric energy. Eventually when you understand yourself and your energy and soul, you will understand the universes energy and the spirits in Nature. This is one of the true paths of a Witch, inner knoweldge and outter knoweldge comming together to make the Witches wisdom.

I love your talk about exhaustion from all the forces around you and within you. I just recently had a breakdown because I was trying to do too much and it took feeling for someone's tragedy I didn't even know (read about her in the paper) that was the straw that broke the camel's back. Lesson learned and I feel so much stronger today :) But thank you for point that out.

I would really like to ask a question and it really doesn't have anything to do with the video. Although I enjoy the videos and I am glad you are back. I have been using a pendulum and was wondering if anyone knows what it means when you leave your pendulum sitting for a while and when you open the bag to use it its tied in a knot. I have had this happen with two different pendulums. One that is copper that I use a lot and another that is just a crystal that is on a necklace I wear sometimes.

I made my own rune set by goin to walmart and got some akasha gem rocks you can choose any color and then wrote on them with a sharpie maker. Put them under the full moon to charge and cleanse them. they work for me.
@Blonde2544 I went to the craft store and bought myself some oven-bake clay and made myself some runes, too. I love it when people make their own tools! They always seem to mean something more than things I just buy at the store. Most of my tools are gifts from some people I love or things I've made or others have made for me. :)
I didn't get a chance to watch this in full length because I'm in a rush to get to work so I don't know if you suggested it but I have found that taking some time out for daily meditation and what Silver Raven Wolf calls "daily devotions" helps to get people started out on a spiritual path and help you to really know yourself=]

Here's an advice for teens. If want to start a secret journal kind of thing but your parents don't want you practicing paganism, then start an anonymous blog, that will do the trick. No one, expect for you, will ever find it. And if you still wan to have a journal, how about trying a dream journal? It's totally innocent.
i find it really hard to write things down, once i pick up the pen or think about writing anything down. i just go numb and cant find words, where as if i was just to talk inside my head or to the universe, that would be so much easier.
I agree with the "not overnight" idea. I've been deeply spiritual for many years (well, as many years as a 20-year-old can have) and I'm not even sure I've covered a square inch on the very tip of the iceberg. Spirituality is a truly evolutionary thing that is not confined to a single religion. I call myself "Pagan" or "Wiccan" for quick-identification's sake, but my path transcends any label or confined religion.
@illiezeulette Very similar to my own journey. I resonate strongly with Buddhist and Hinduist ideaologies, but I also use Oracle Cards as a reference and I am hoping to do a reiki course sometime this year. But yes, my own path cannot really be labeled as anything specific because I have learned bits from many :) (I'm 24 years old)

I love this video because a lot of people forget to start within yourself. A lot of times people focus more on spell work and books and tools and etc., but no matter what path you choose, if you aren't right within yourself, something will always be holding you back from your true potential. Thanks, TipToe, for the reminder to take the time look within, attune, assess, and adjust yourself. Even outside of religion, taking care of spiritual self is the root system of a healthy life.

My mom did her best to raise me Southern Baptist, my dad was open to all religons in that they all had some basis of truth. This gave me the freedom to study all religons, evne though my mom does not agree with my choice...well to be honest when I asked her I never got an answer back and this was almost two years ago.
I love oracle decks. I mainly use a Goddess Oracle deck, but I have many to choose from.
For those on a budget who need a rune set, there is a great one at Barnes and Noble. It's on a spinning rack in a tiny box and it's only around $6-$8. It's great for travel, lightweight, and the odd shaped stones make it easier to read them then others.

During the beginning of my Pagan/Wiccan/General spiritual studies I went to a spiritual store that just sold supplies, offered lessons, and reiki sessions. I met a woman who just seemed very similar to me. I revisited many times and at some point asked about Tarot. The woman brought me to a black box and when I opened it there were no cards inside. She said to me that all I need to guide me to the right path is myself. Ever since Ive looked inside for answers and Ive enjoyed every second of it.
This is an amazing video, you said it perfectly and how it is which I love. I agree with the whole getting to know yourself and enjoyed the chakra speech, it was very interesting, and you used good easy to understand examples.
@TipToeChick TipToe I'm just curious what are your thoughts on Satanism? ;] I don't mean all the stereotypical goat killing and blood drinking or whatever, and I'm an atheist myself, but when you study the witchcraft side of it it seems to resemble Wicca a bit. @Itsooz hope you dont mind if I give a answer I cant speak for everyone but the fact is as wicca came theoretically (there are still debates about it) before any or most other religions When christians became strong, satanists were the answer to the "evil god" and reconstructed the historic works in a different way but follow the same principle basis, we are totally opposite in a lot of our works, though we (wiccans) dont condemn any religion for their beliefs or works in anyway primarily.

I didnt jump to the spells and wands and such and still havent
ive witnessed rituals and partook in some cause I felt whole and in connection with the goddess, so im just saying i got into paganism at 14 years old and love the religion dearly but i have loads of info on myself as a person and as of my religion. Hopes by the time im 37 years old ill be very nolageable and happy ^.^

@AdamGLewis well it depends. If you're looking for some scientific proof, like magnetic waves in various points on you, or some hidden organ within those spots, that's going to be hard. Finding physical proof isn't really easy. Its more of a metaphysical proof, something some folks would claim as a false science.

@AdamGLewis Just because we can't see something, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. We tend to forget that most of science is 'proven' using only theories & those theories change over time. Many scientific theories that were once believed to be facts have later been refuted with real evidence. We have no way of seeing chakras, but we also have no way of seeing protons & electrons, yet we believe they exist because we can see things happen around them. The same can be said for chakras,

If she were to say, "you should go see a reiki specialist!", so you go see one and realize it's not right for you. Well, that wouldnt be a very pleasurable experience. @AdamGLewis Yes, true. Facts are pretty good. However, its important to note that not everything can just be scientifically proven. After all, science is still advancing. One day you might find a person who will invent a device to do what a person who is strong with their third eye can do and examine Chakras. Plus, not everything in this lifetime is meant to just be understood. Some people can go through life, accepting some things, but never have any idea how it works or anything.

I understand, and even love, the diversity and organization a computer can bring, but I feel like it's not as "magical". I'm even one of those silly people who use a cypher to write in, that I myself created. i agree about the chakras. i am a practicing Witch for about 12 years, and a natural healer and herbalist. and everything, i mean everything can be "enhanced" by out chakras and auric energy. Eventually when you understand yourself and your energy and soul, you will understand the universes energy and the spirits in Nature. What she means is the analytical/competative people who will take what she says, assume it is presented as fact, and then pick it apart to show her all the reasons she is wrong, just to prove that their logic/reasoning is superior. I love your talk about exhaustion from all the forces around you and within you. I just recently had a breakdown because I was trying to do too much and it took feeling for someone's tragedy I didn't even know (read about her in the paper) that was the straw that broke the camel's back. I would really like to ask a question and it really doesn't have anything to do with the video. Although I enjoy the videos and I am glad you are back. I have been using a pendulum and was wondering if anyone knows what it means when you leave your pendulum sitting for a while and when you open the bag to use it its tied in a knot. I have had this happen with two different pendulums. One that is copper that I use a lot and another that is just a crystal that is on a necklace I wear sometimes.

I made my own rune set by goin to walmart and got some akasha gem rocks you can choose any color and then wrote on them with a sharpie maker. Put them under the full moon to charge and cleanse them. they work for me.

Here's an advice for teens. If want to start a secret journal kind of thing but your parents don't want you practicing paganism, then start an anonymous blog, that will do the trick. No one, expect for you, will ever find it. And if you still wan to have a journal, how about trying a dream journal? It's totally innocent.

I agree with the "not overnight" idea. I've been deeply spiritual for many years (well, as many years as a 20-year-old can have) and I'm not even sure I've covered a square inch on the very tip of the iceberg. Spirituality is a truly evolutionary thing that is not confined to a single religion. I call myself "Pagan" or "Wiccan" for quick-identification's sake, but my path transcends any label or confined religion.

@illiezeulette Very similar to my own journey. I resonate strongly with Buddhist and Hinduist ideaologies, but I also use Oracle Cards as a reference and I am hoping to do a reiki course sometime this year. But yes, my own path cannot really be labeled as anything specific because I have learned bits from many :) (I'm 24 years old)

@Vasiel44 Yup. I'm heavily Christian... but more Gnostic Christian than mainstream. Jesus/Yeshua is just another guy I look up to for spiritual aid, alongside Miryam/Mary and all of the other gods and goddesses I like... (:

I love this video because a lot of people forget to start within yourself. A lot of times people focus more on spell work and books and tools and etc., but no matter what path you choose, if you aren't right within yourself, something will always be holding you back from your true potential. Thanks, TipToe, for the reminder to take the time look within, attune, assess, and adjust yourself. Even outside of religion, taking care of spiritual self is the root system of a healthy life.

i agree! with me, it took me a while before i starte calling myself pagan. im still searching for my spirituality and what i feel is right for me. it will take a while but its something thats needed for me to feel whole. thanks for the video! Love and Light )O(

My mom did her best to raise me Southern Baptist, my dad was open to all religons in that they all had some basis of truth. This gave me the freedom to study all religons, evne though my mom does not agree with my choice...well to be honest when I asked her I never got an answer back and this was almost two years ago.

I love oracle decks. I mainly use a Goddess Oracle deck, but I have many to choose from.
For those on a budget who need a rune set, there is a great one at Barnes and Noble. It's on a spinning rack in a tiny box and it's only around $6-$8. It's great for travel, lightweight, and the odd shaped stones make it easier to read them then others.

During the beginning of my Pagan/Wiccan/General spiritual studies I went to a spiritual store that just sold supplies, offered lessons, and reiki sessions. I met a woman who just seemed very similar to me. I revisited many times and at some point asked about Tarot. The woman brought me to a black box and when I opened it there were no cards inside. She said to me that all I need to guide me to the right path is myself. Ever since Ive looked inside for answers and Ive enjoyed every second of it.

This is an amazing video, you said it perfectly and how it is which I love. I agree with the whole getting to know yourself and enjoyed the chakra speech, it was very interesting, and you used good easy to understand examples.

@TipToeChick TipToe I'm just curious what are your thoughts on Satanism? ;] I don't mean all the stereotypical goat killing and blood drinking or whatever, and I'm an atheist myself, but when you study the witchcraft side of it it seems to resemble Wicca a bit. Do you identify in any way with their rebellious attitude? Do you condemn satanists? Thanks in advance for an answer if that's possible ;]

@Itsooz hope you dont mind if I give a answer I cant speak for everyone but the fact is as wicca came theoretically (there are still debates about it) before any or most other religions When christians became strong, satanists were the answer to the "evil god" and reconstructed the historic works in a different way but follow the same principle basis, we are totally opposite in a lot of our works, though we (wiccans) dont condemn any religion for their beliefs or works in anyway primarily.
