Wow, that sucks. It doesn't help at all. Yes, you can use that method to send friends songs on a Zune hidden in a .jpg file, then they take it on their computer and bam, they wirelessly transferred a song in a picture file, but thats it. and besides, that method has been patched.

I just tried this myself, the file types you use make no difference so it doesn't need to be a .rar file in a .jpg if you don't want.

For example I hid a .bmp image in a .mp3 file.

BTW, this is just kind of a quirk of how both apps work. What the copy command is doing is taking the *binary* contents of one file and adding them to the end of another file and creates another file as a result (all of it is binary-safe). The quirk is, that each program will read it's own file format and discard the other invalid binary file data without throwing any errors... this is pretty cool -- thanks for showing me this.

Arrrr Kive -- say it... "arrr" and then "kive" and then together: Archive! Yay... in the computer world, we tend to call RAR files "rawr", not "rare" -- talk to someone who's used WinRAR for several years, they'll say "Win rawr". No offense, just schoolin' yah. I can tell you like to learn ;)
