I was Grand Marshall for this win and gave Dale his trophy. As I handed him his large bottle of Gatorade for the photo op and he looks at me and says I don't drink this *^%$
I said just hold it for the pic so when complete he hands it back
I said what am I going to do with this he says throw it over your shoulder so the guys can their pic s made.
Funny guy Dale. Had several ops to meet and talk with him.
I miss this NASCAR. Typical Ford driver bitching. Every year at Daytona they whined and cried. And every year they got dominated by Chevy, until 2000, they destroyed the competition that year lol.
Nobody will master the Duels like Dale did. winning every year in the 90's at the 125's is just remarkable. (2 win in Race 1, 8 wins in Race 2 in the 90's)

Yep, Ford figured their car out before Chevy did, Dale Jarrett had the best car that year in Daytona, and there was no question about it.

Yes then Chevy figured out the new aero package before ford. lol. Always seems Chevy is one step ahead of ford at the plate tracks
