Yes baptism in Jesus name is absolutely essential for salvation.

@ChristopherLukas Man, you should go to the "Sheppard's Truth" site by David Mohn. There is a really great picture under his "Mode of Baptism" link of a soldier being baptized in water ..."in the middle of the Iraqui desert" ...and of course he is in good company with the Ethipian Eunuch.

In Ro 12 forbids involvement in wrath/vengence.
Rom 12:18 If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men.

I never got baptized, because going to IRAQ is not in my plans...I really hope anyone who has been born-again, joins the army and goes to fight GWB!

God can overcome the "problems" with his plan.
