@teddybear4422 I actually make her own food, i don't give her commercial food sold in stores; i make a big batch in a 12 quart cooker and i add brown rice, beef, turkey, veggies, liver, and chicken gizzards. Once it's cooked, i weigh and portion it into 24 oz baggies, and i keep a few days worth in the fridge, and freeze the rest. It cost me roughly $20-$23 for 17 days worth. I also give her a multivitamin for lg breed dogs with her food.
@erich1313sch Thanks buddy, i appreciate that! Yes, she is very strong, and also very agile and in amazing shape... she will just run through the woods fast and swift and leap over fallen tree's, through all different terrain, etc w/ease! Even the streams she goes through so good! She does it so good it's like natural. I had trouble keeping up with her on the 4wheeler too! lol
@m1shadow nice lol, maya loves to run in the nature too;) gsd's are damm fast lol,,, have you thought in do personal protetcion or schutzhund with sasha?
@erich1313sch I thought about personal protection, though she def has it naturally... as sweet and loving as she is, if i am not home, she won't let anyone in, and if i am home,she barks and growls till i show her it's ok they come in, but then once i do, then she is a sweetheart again, so i love that about her! Also, me and my brother were joking one day, and he grabbed my arm, and she charged to attack him to where i had to stop her. She's an amazing dog, i love her so much!
@m1shadow that sounds good,,, for sasha personal protection would be better, and you would enjoy it a lot!!!! with maya its the same when someone visit us she wants to bite him but then i show her that the guy isnt a threat and then she became just alert but not sweet
