People who do mermaid videos (not just you) need to learn how to swim without bending their knees to a 90 degree angle. It breaks the illusion that the whole tail is flexible like a dolphin's tail. It's not that hard to swim without bending oyur knees too much - I usually swim like that.

I much prefer this method of tail (where the tips of your toes touches the base of the fin) than the newer method (where there is often a space between the two, with a rod connecting them eg H2O: Just Add Water) I still love that show though.

Very cool tail. Fin is slightly floppy, though. It looks like the fin doesn't offer much propulsion (flippers are stiff and work better because of that).
