@HeathenMaiden Amen to that! I'm sick of people trashing Anette when it was the band that hired her. They saw how great her voice is and they wanted her on board. I personally would never have gotten into Nightwish if not for Anette because I did not like Tarja's voice except on Gethsemane. That's the only song from the Tarja era I can even stand listening to other than the instrumental Moondance.

@ruby089 I met them at a Meet and Greet before the show in Worcester MA, everyone was very friendly and down to earth and cheerful. It was a nice meeting. I got to see Tuomas again after the show too...the concert was amazing =)

Anette is a world class pop singer, whereas Tarja is a pretty average opera singer. However, though Anette excels at what she does, with a sick range, she sticks completely to her pop style and kind of shapes the music around her instead of trying to fit into the Nightwish that used to be. She doesn't show much versatility or will to adapt. But still, the guys chose her out of tons of other singers, most of them Tarja clones I assume, so she kind of has the right to do that.
