credits were a typo, they both had full bird colonel insignia on their uniform. Hammond was also a rank lower than he was in the film, he was a lieutenant general (3 star) but the credits said he was major general (2 star)

The movie I believe was originally planned to be released around Fall 2007, taking place BEFORE season 4 of Atlantis. However, because of several reasons (I don't know if it was the vis effects, or MGM...someone else would know why), Continuum is being released now, so it takes place AFTER Search and Rescue, during season 5, while I believe Ark of Truth is supposed to take place before Season 4 of Atlantis. Joe Mallozzi said that the credits were a mistake. In Continuum, both Carter and Mitchell are full bird Colonels.
