I also agree that Bush was stupid to emphasize that the real reason to go to war was WMD's. Granted Saddam is supposedly had some chemical weapons documented by the U.N. to be missing, I felt that the best reason was the oppresion he created on his own people. Also, the U.N. didn't do much with the 10 years they were investigating, in fact, they were doing scandalous trade of oil-for-food.
