Star Trek was awesome, hands down, my favorite Sci Fi film of 2009, but what about the Hurt Locker? I heard that it is FANTASTIC, and its pretty unanimous, i have heard no negative reviews of the movie, so why wasn't it nominated? District 9 was good but not movie of the year. Star Trek was a really good film. Better than District 9 imo. The trailers for Distict 9 seemed like they were from an interesting film that would comment about the way we treat refugees and asylum seekers. Instead it was another action film based around one character who wasn't very likeable.
